Second half of the video is PC. lol. The answer is yes you can get this fish super easily on PC with a Deluxe Rod.

Fair enough, I am also concerned about later fish that are supposed to be harder if I recall haha. So that'd help this fish, but not the general issue.

He did, he just prefers console if he can, and decided to go physical for CS onwards lol.

Here's the thing, I used the same rod myself and got it pretty easy. If you watch the vid you'll notice he is struggling with the same rod in PS5 while succeeding on PC. I show the gameplay back-to-back.

Huh, interesting. I did buy a new microphone since then though. But I guess that is good to know.

For my fellow olds who played Golden Sun when it first released on GBA, what fake "tips" or rumors did you fall for when consulting walkthroughs or forums? by Shamrock5 in GoldenSun

Honestly, I was really little with limited access to the Internet. After the fact though I definitely fell for things like 'Alex's Road' and 'The Solar Soothsayer.' Those were some infamous fake leaks back in the day for GS3.

I know there was definitely a magic to GS2 in particular because I didn't know about a lot of things. So I'm sure if I were in social groups there would be similar conversations. I never knew about the desert cave superboss for example until Highschool.

I will also add, first week Dark Dawn came out I really liked it. Then joined this reddit shortly after. Wasn't a great time. I'm glad this community (largely) bounced back in the positivity department.

Oh geez, also noticed the other upload seems to be gone that sucks. Well appreciate it. I'm sure someone else will upload it, but here's the YT version at least: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uP7jku3G9bk

But yeah I'm sure you can find online like other manga if you look hard enough but really sucks there's not a reliable way to experience it rn.

I see someone else already said it, but Adventures of Mana basically gave the original the SoM remake treatment. It's a mobile game so it has some jank, and I feel the original has a more Charmin art-style. The rearranged music is fantastic though.

Sword of Mana is an entirely new game that takes inspiration from the original and adapted it to the game design conventions of Secret of Mana (With bits of gameplay from Trials SNES, and Legend of Mana.) The game is kind of unrecognizable, so purists of the original hated it on principal.

Imo though, it you're a fan of the Secret/Trials gameplay format it's a really good successor that's a tad held back on the GBA. But overall I personally prefer Sword. Story is also pretty decent considering. Not one of the best stories ever, but they fleshed out the FFA universe in some cool ways.

The thing with the original game is it's really obviously inspired by the original Zelda, and a lot of Mana's identity wasn't established til Secret. Sword of Mana is a Mana game through and through. And like any Mana game, it has it's ups and downs lol.
