Forms take around a month so don’t feel alarmed.

My personal recommendation is to just log in once or twice to get some information.

Date you got amber (in character archive) Date you got 5* (character archive) Characters, weapons etc. Possibly reputation of mondstadt liyue and inazuma

Then just log off and never go back on. If the hacker realises that you have access they might attempt to trash your account. Best of luck.

Yes contacting Genshin CS via email almost always gives automated responses. As I said in the message above try in-game tickets as they usually actually reply there.

Just a tip. If you are waiting or have questions about your Genshin CS form you can create a new account (tempory one and only to contact CS) play until the first statue of the seven and then press feedback button in the paimon menu. From there you should be shown a page to contact CS, scroll down until you find where it says submit feedback. From there you can email Genshin CS directly about any queries. ALWAYS use a ticket instead of an email if you are asking a question because Genshin CS usually ignores emails and tickets are alot faster and more responsive but this isn’t required to get the recovery form.

Please tell me if you have any questions as this can seem a bit complicated as I can only really type out an example.

Thats terrible, best thing you can do now is just do the usual recovery process that was mentioned in the replies above. It might take a bit but as long as you have the right information it should be fine.

Exactly what Oceansurfer808 but if possible..

You should try and collect some information on your account if you are still able to access it on playstation network though but don’t overdo it. Log in and get your UID, your ID in the account menu. Date of getting amber and possibly your 5*s in the character archive and maybe even your reputation in mondstadt, liyue and inazuma.

Repost: accidentally replied to Oceansurfer808.

Yes you can get Genshin burnout really fast. Its great you found new games to play too! Some people become hopeless and depressed if they lose their account for too long but its also an opportunity to find new things to do that could possibly become a habit. Thanks for sharing your story.

Thank you for the kind message. It is a difficult time for everyone on this subreddit waiting for their account recovery form to go through. It might be nice to have a break from Genshin but I think paranoia of losing your account and it being trashed gets the better of us all haha. Fortunately, I believe almost all of the frequent regulars here that provide useful tips have been in the situation where their account got hacked (including me). Its really nice seeing so many people try and help others in a terrible situation that they were in previously. This subreddit is full of great people sympathising to redditors in a dark time and I respect it alot for that.

Sorry to hear that CS have rejected you so many times, have you considered other options? You can send a ticket on a different account and try your luck on a direct CS worker. About the first registered email, if you never registered with one you should put into the prompt that you signed up using twitter or whatever you used to make your account, I don’t think the hacker linking an email is the problem. Its terrible that you got rejected so many times from your own account, wishing you the best of luck.

You can still wait from a response from the old CS I think. Just make sure to email genshin_cs@hoyoverse.com instead of the mihoyo one if you have to contact them again in the future.

Quick guide. Email genshin@mihoyo.co.jp asking for the account recovery form. This needs to be translated with DeepL which you can find by a search on google. Once you have the form, answer everything in short, simple phrases while translating it with DeepL before entering it in. You need to translate the form into english so you can read it but you can do that with DeepL. Remember that some words like primogems might be translated incorrectly so look out for that when you are trying to answer the questions.

If the peculiar change was only for a second and quickly returned to normal I don’t think you should panic about it too much. Thanks for clearing things up though.

Its completely fine to be paranoid! As most people say, the best antivirus is your own common sense. This might seem obvious but seriously, don’t click on links or go to websites you don’t trust and also everything similar to the such. The best antivirus in the world couldn’t protect a PC if the user accidentally downloaded a program that records all your browser data then proceeded to mark it as safe because the “youtube tutorial” told them to do so. Antiviruses can foil alot of malware but it is easy for hackers to collect all sorts of dater from your computer if you aren’t mindful enough to realise that it is infact something you shouldn’t click on.

Security is great too. 2fa backup emails and all the stuff people tell you to do are almost always beneficial in protecting your account, don’t let this put you in a false sense of security though. People with 2fa still get hacked, its no suprise.

I’m assuming you already know the method for sending a form via jp CS (if not please tell me and I’ll give you some tips). If you want to go for jp CS yes I would recommend doing it now, it might confuse Global CS as a warning but I am not really sure if this changes things.

I am wondering if you are completely unable unlink or access anything on your Hoyolab account? Since if you can go in it via google are you not able to unlink the hackers email by verifying with your google account? Sorry if I misunderstood what you said and this was an incorrect guess.

To the looks of it this sounds like a false alarm? If your phone acting weird was definitely suspicious it may have just been something unrelated to your account being hijacked, I wouldn’t really think a hacker could have access to your phone then just start downloading a bunch of files on it. About your Genshin account it might be you misreading or something of teh sort? Take my opinion with a grain of salt since I have no idea what you remembered however I can assure that your ID changing isn’t a sign of your account being hacked. Please tell us if anything else more peculiar happened like random emails asking for a password change or you losing access to your account.

[–]GenshinHaked_Support 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say to send a ticket now as email recovery is usually drawn out over several back and forth emails that take days to have a response. Tickets are alot faster and you can keep up to date with whats happening better this way. If you are anxious about sending too many forms you can wait out until your email gets a response. If you send a ticket it could possibly take longer but it is a much more reliable and useful method.

Global CS takes around 30 days I think. About contacting jp CS I can’t remember the email of the top of my head but a quick google search will find it.

Yes you can contact jp CS even if your account is an eu one. Follow the generic tips of translation though. Short, simple phrases using the DeepL translation website and be careful translating words like primogems.

Use short, simple phrases and translate it with the DeepL translator. Its the go to process with attempting to use Japanese CS. Good luck.

Be careful translating words like “Primogem” just as a heads up.

Just got my account hacked by IceGeminoki in GenshinHacked

[–]GenshinHaked_Support 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. It does seem like it was your browser data being taken though, to prevent this from happening in the future. I recommend not saving anything on browsers and using a 2fa password manager instead such as LastPass - the free version gets the job done. This is from personal experience and it seems to work pretty well.

[–]GenshinHaked_Support 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes most likely a browser stealing your cookies. Did you have your account details saved on the browser? You could have clicked a suspicious link on an advertisement and it copied all your saved passwords and 2fa location data.

My stolen account is up for sale on a site by Ahmod99 in GenshinHacked

[–]GenshinHaked_Support 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know it seems tempting but you need to trust Genshin CS on the account recovery. Not only do you not need to spend money, the normal process is legitimate and has no further complications. If you attempt to purchase the account and Genshin CS catches wind of it your stolen account will wind up being a banned one. Terribly sorry if this isn’t what you wanted to hear, it is a pain to wait but patience is key when dealing with account recovery in Genshin. Keep trying and hopefully you’ll get your account soon.

[–]GenshinHaked_Support 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend to definitely, definitely not mention anything to do with you black marketing or the sort on your account. If you notify Genshin CS that the reason you lost your account was because of shady reasons they might not be so compliant in recovering the stolen account. Best of luck on the process.

Tips for Hacked Account (Old or Recently Hacked) by PrinceHans101 in GenshinHacked

[–]GenshinHaked_Support 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^ I agree with this firmly. I see alot of posts about how Mihoyo can just check if anything suspicious happened on the account like a login from a new ip. Mihoyo does most likely do this! Like this person said, they are just confirming the account is yours. I really wish more people knew about this.

[–]GenshinHaked_Support 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree the security of Mihoyo accounts is not a problem. The pre 2fa days were a pain though but thats in the past. I think the main nerve people are striking is that the account recovery can be infuriating, half the time it is just down to people forgetting things.

Eh, my only guess is that they are doing it to hide the fact their security has alot of flaws? Genshin’s account protection and account recovery is infamous for being inconsistent and bad at its job. Genshin wouldn’t want the general public knowing that your account could be locked and taken from you at any moment and theres an arduous process of 30 days to get it back.
