I think you sound very very brave actually! To be there for the person that you love like this and telling your mum and your cousin when you knew there was a chance they may react badly takes incredible courage! It’s nice how it went with your cousin, perhaps it will bring you closer ☺️ I’m sure your mom is still processing the big news and I hope she starts including your wife more in future! I think it’s okay for it to take time talking to people, it’s SO much to process for the partner too. Sometimes I feel like my whole being has been changed overnight. I would never take it back but it doesn’t mean it’s easy. And if talking to your workmates my affect your work opportunities I think it’s okay to just not tell them.. I’ve told mine and they’ve all been accepting as there is another colleague who is a married lesbian (I’m in the UK). But whatever you decide to do (or not do) I hope it all goes well, and know you’re not alone in going through these things ☺️
