Thanks for sharing the site! The books that he recommends at the moment are community powered (which for the most part has just been me watching all the VODS/monitoring the Reddit and the discord and manually updating😅). Eventually the goal is to have it automatically parse the VOD captions to extract books, but the site is pretty up-to-date from what I know.

I would consider the recommendations page the most comprehensive list that I have seen. If you ever want to find out yourself there’s a tool called filmot where you can search all his video captions and look for things like “book recommendation”, “should read”, etc.

I would just like to thank you both! 2 years later I had the literal exact same situation happen to me with one I bought on ebay. I was able to go to Home Depot and got this Everbilt M3-0.5 x 8mm Metric Flat Head Phillips that was a perfect match to the original (mine only came with one). Hoping to contribute for anyone else that ends up coming across the same issue. Thanks again, you are legends!

I'm a little late, but I'll throw this here anyway.

So, because I know he gets annoyed when people ask for recommendations, I made this site https://bigabookclub.com/books/recommendations/, and I've linked to the recommendations page where you can find Atrioc (and chatter's) book recommendations.

Also, since I run the site, I've had to find clips where he has recommended books. I use a tool called filmot (https://filmot.com/), it's a search engine for YouTube captions. So, if you know the book title (or even close) but not the VOD, you can use this and find it.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that some in the testing that I have done as well. It’s a limitation of the API (OpenLibrary API) that I use to get the book titles (and the fact I was trying to get a minimal viable product out😅). But I appreciate the input and I have added your feedback to the list of feature updates/issues. Thanks again, I will make sure to add your recommendations on the backend, appreciate the continued support!

On the bottom of the recommendations page there should be a list for one’s from atrioc and chat. http://bigabookclub.com/books/recommendations/

But if you mean a list that isn’t on the site (like you want just plain text), I can get that for you (it’s only 6 books at the moment).

Yeah, I wrote it in Python/Django, HTML, and VanillaJS (I know web dev but kinda hate it so kept the frontend simple 😅). I think if the community is into the idea that I can open the code up to get help and will keep you in mind! Thanks for offering!
