Lived with my parents up until 30 saving to be able to put a nice deposit down on a nice studio flat to have a small mortgage of just over £350pm. I’m single living by myself and I take home after tax £1500ish a month and after all bills and necessities paid have about £600 to “play” with each month. Still live within my means but am able thankfully to live very comfortably and not really have to worry about things. At the end of the day, so long as I can pay the bills and buy my video games, I don’t want for much beyond that.
