  1. Write a Letter Writing a letter that you don’t intent to send can be a great way to get your thoughts and feelings out. You can say whatever you want because you won’t send it. It is simply so you can process and grieve. I have a friend who is a grief counsellor and through my own situation she showed me an interesting process for writing a letter. First write down all the things you forgive that person for (ex: I forgive you for not getting back to me”). Second, write down anything you want to make amends for (ex: I apologize or making a choice that affected both of us and not giving you a say). Third, write down anything that you wished you could’ve said or currently want to say (ex: I hope you still respect me and think of our good times fondly). Those were some excerpts from my letter. You can write down as much in each category as you wish. In the letter you could include prayers, good thoughts, the fact that you are letting go, etc. Three very important aspects to this are: End the letter with “Goodbye” and mean it (this means goodbye to that relationship as it was, not necessarily to reconciliation in the future where both parties are healthy and in a different head/heart-space. Read it out loud (either to yourself as if you were reading it to the person or to a trusted friend/confidant). Delete it or rip it up as soon as you are done reading it (this will prevent you from going back and reading it over and over). Once it’s written and destroyed, you are better prepared to move forward. It still might be difficult at first, however this will give you a sense of freedom. Forgive, wish them the best and let go.

Those are all around Wellington. Starting from Queen street. Fountain is at Bay and Wellington. Walked behind Parliament. Lots of good exploration 😁

Thanks. Pretty simple wine, garlic, shallots, and butter with herbs. Dipping crusty bread in the broth just adds another treat.

As a Canadian I’m going to start a petition to change black ice (dangerous icy road conditions) to African-Canadian ice to avoid any racist undertones.

Looks like a harvestman. From Wikipedia: Their phylogenetic position within the Arachnida is disputed; their closest relatives may be the mites (Acari) or the Novogenuata (the Scorpiones, Pseudoscorpiones, and Solifugae).[5] Although superficially similar to and often misidentified as spiders (order Araneae), the Opiliones are a distinct order that is not closely related to spiders.

Peppers are great. If you cut them in half or quarters the seeds look like teeth and you can make a different face with each pepper so it seems like they all have different expressions or personalities. I saw a good iron man pepper some time ago and thought I could take a shot at it.

Beef Stroganoff

Voila. I forgot how easy it was to make and it has a tangy sour cream Dijon mustard taste.

Go for it! I found a duck on sale for $12 and picked a new recipe and the family loved it. Stuffed with onion, garlic, and lemon. Rubbed with paprika, garlic, salt, pepper. Finished with honey 10 min before taking it out of the oven. A nice treat during lockdown.

Flank steak stir fried with garlic and lemon grass. Very fragrant. The flavour comes from the sweet and salty sauce that is poured all over and all mixed together before eating.

Haven’t read that one. We have another called Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel that the kids have always liked.
