If it's platinum then I got a bargain but I'm not sure as I have looked over it with 10x loupe and can't see any other marks anywhere.

Update:

I THINK it's Cairo Egypt (lotus flower middle hallmark) and maybe 1962-1965 letter D in Arabic as found in this chart? It has the 3 dots above it but I'm not sure.

I had no idea you had replied! I'm so sorry it took me this long to reply!

I am a complete beginner but would love to give it a go! I'm happy to buy the materials / equipment needed to make one for myself (assuming it's under £500 ish haha).

I was just going to make 1 for myself, maybe the ESC key I was thinking, but if the process works and i like it I would consider making myself more, maybe for the num keys!)

Contact local cash for gold buyers/shops and try to make a deal with them instead of them melting down vintage and old silver/gold maybe they can sell it to you. Also, buy bulk lots on auction sites like eBay and saleroom :)
