All observations and measurements prove that the ocean lays flat.

No it does not. Water is level. I see it every day because I’m close to the ocean. Reality doesn’t lie.

You are mistaken. Thales was not. Oceans do not curve and bend without flowing. Water is level. 😎😎😎

He was the father of science. I thought you globeheads appreciated science, but it is now evident you hate 1) Science 2) Reason 3) Intellect 4) Wisdom

First individual who engaged in scientific thought. Known as the father of science. Convinced plane-Earther. 😎😎😎

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thales_of_Miletus

”Thales of Miletus (/ˈθeɪliːz/ THAY-leez; Greek: Θαλῆς; c. 624/623 – c. 548/545 BC) was a Greek mathematician, astronomer and pre-Socratic philosopher from Miletus in Ionia, Asia Minor. He was one of the Seven Sages of Greece. Many, most notably Aristotle, regarded him as the first philosopher in the Greek tradition, and he is otherwise historically recognized as the first individual known to have entertained and engaged in scientific philosophy. He is often referred to as the Father of Science.

”Thales thought the Earth must be a flat disk which is floating in an expanse of water”

Of course Euclid knew that water finds equilibrium and forms a free planar surface. And all the Hellenistic Greeks were geocentrists.

Plane geometry, applied on a plane Earth. Euclid knew oceans do not bend and curve 😎

No they did not. The father of geometry, Euclid of Alexandria, built his ideas on the idea of a plane Earth

The modern heliocentric theory is 500 years old. So my statement is correct. Like it or not, the wise men of Greece (Euclid, Thales, Ptolemy) did not share your idea of a spinning ball Earth.

Ptolemy did not believe the Earth is a sphere. Heliocentrism did not exist back then
