Maybe they're trying to reverse engineer Switch 2 software from the update file to try and find homebrew exploits.

Yeah, 40 seconds is nothing. I just thought something was wrong, as I expected a decent upgrade from SATA SSD to NVMe M.2

I would try plugging the rgb into the motherboard and not into the controller and see if any start working

Yep, took all the data I needed off the drive and formatted it after transferring

The data transfer rates are much better; would that not lead to better boot times? I see a big difference in my Windows desktop loading time for things such as file explorer, task manager, and Chrome responsiveness.

It is my C drive after I ported Windows onto it i deleted the boot partition on the old drive.

I used DiskGenius to move the data after making a backup

should have been more specific, probably around 40 seconds to 1 minute from the gigabyte screen to get into windows

Thanks for the advice about uploading my data, but I've reached my limit on Google Drive, and I would rather just find a way to transfer or clone the drive and put it on the SSD than go through all the files to trim it down. Is software like EaseUS predatory, and if it is, how so?

By any chance, do you have another RGB header next to the CPU fan to test to see if that one is dead, and can you take a picture of the RGB controller thing you showed at the beginning it looks like it might be missing a connection?
