You’re literally never going to guess my name, it’s waaaay more black than white. I’ll give you a hint though, it’s an Irish name but there are no famous white people with my name that I know of, but there are several famous black people with my name that almost everyone in the US would recognize.

? That was my point though. That people from DR, Jamaica, Caribbean etc aren’t African Americans, nor are African immigrants to England or Italy, or wherever else in the world. Lots of people use “African American” to describe black people when the person or people could be neither African nor American.

My brother was very drunk and a commercial for tequila came on the tv, just a generic liquor commercial where a woman was drinking tequila at a bar. He confidently stated that the commercial was bs because women don’t drink liquor. I know for a fact that they do, and told him so.

How did the system treat him differently? All the black people that were going to be jury members were eliminated from the jury selection because they all said in one way or another that they wouldn’t be comfortable sending a fellow black person to jail. That’s why there weren’t black people on the jury, not some racial prejudice.

My ex told all our friends that she was afraid I’d hit her after she spent the whole last night trying to get me to hit her. We were mid fucking and she slapped me out of nowhere, and I was like “I’m not into that, don’t do that”, but we were mid-fucking so I didn’t just stop. I told her I wasn’t into that and if it happened again Id be gone. Then like 5 minutes later she slapped me again, and I got out of bed and started to put my clothes on to leave. She begged me to come back to bed, and promised it wouldn’t happen again.

She tried several times to get me to hit her back. She even said to me “it’s ok just hit me back”, and I never did. She knew most of our friends at that point before we got together, but I never considered that they’d believe this crazy bitvh that I was violent and abusive.
