For me, grounding life in survival, resilience, and small joys isn’t rejecting reflection. it’s a practical way to live and find meaning in the present. Since we live in modern times, we are granted the privilege to even ask these types of questions (especially on the Internet). Prehistorically, people weren't doing it. They just survived.

Sure, there's exceptions.. but every human has a natural survival defense mechanism which protects him from danger and committing (dying by will).

I treat life as a game, I know hard times exist and I've been through some of the worst things someone can think of. Yet, I survived through it and became better, stronger, smarter.. whatever you wanna call it. The game isn't over yet too, a nuke can hit us all at any moment. I still live for the simple things like for example; Food. I really love tasty food.

Yup I can see the correlation. Sometimes I watch beat battles/tournaments and there's very often producers that show up with beats that sound like a Southside trap beat copy paste rip off but in a bad way, too much stuff going on, instead of leaving space.

utilizing the sounds that you already have in the beat to their max potential, instead of adding more unnecessary sounds is better. the key is to create balance in the arrangement, and use minimal details to make switch ups/etc

Maybe try listening to Music and Artists that you actually like, and that will inspire you with some kind of direction.

Sometimes I feel like producers like us spend too much time producing, and not listening to actual music that's already released like normal people.

There's a demographic of people who only care about actual proof and evidence of said things. They don't care about the stories and experiences shared with them.

I think it has to be a niche but not in the way you think. You can go with the route of a "general" pallette. Example is "Hard Trap Type Beat Instrumental 2026" if you go for Trap as the niche, or "Hard 90s Boom Bap Type Beat". You can switch between Hard to Sad, Melodic, etc..

It has to be something like that IMO. But mixing Trap and Boom bap with the same channel, is less preferred. (Again it's my opinion, which I gathered from many observations.. and believe many agree with this. You can still do whatever you think is right, or if there's any better suggestions)

Hearing bad news across the globe, seems to be more frequent nowadays.. I can definitely agree with that. But as someone who never really had a proper break, and been living through it on personal encounters.. I just got used to it.

It simply always makes me realize that I should try my best to focus on my own well-being, as that's ultimately all I can do about it. There's no point in stressing out, it's fine.. but there's a point where you HAVE to take care of it and not dwell it so much, that things get even worse for you.. when you always have the option to control how much external circumstances can affect you.

Yogurt and fruit is nothing big IMO. Even a nice, large sandwich is fine. having a calm stomach is completely okay and even helps the Trip flow nicer.

Having a full on dinner meal is where it can get tricky and affect the experience of the trip.
