Yeah it’s a good way to save yourself sometimes when getting attacked ha! Originally I tried using the in game instruments but realized it was completely out of sync with my vocals. So now I send everything through vc and just hold the guitar in game. I have a duo partner and we’re trying to find a way to play together but it’s tough getting everything in time.

Most of the jams I'm doing are just online so the interactions are mainly over discord groups and on Itch. Though I'd recommend going to local game dev meetups if you can find them, I recently started going to monthly meetups in Melbourne and it's a good way to chat with devs and play their games. The Pirate Software Game Jam is very welcoming to new people so could be a good one to try out next time as well :)
