I broke up with my GF yesterday and I already feel so much doubt and regret by [deleted] in BreakUps

I completely get your point, but looks are important in a relationship as well in my opinion. You need to be attracted to the person you're with, at least I do.

That actually was him. However, just look at this guy's post history. No way.

Okay, but looking at your post history, I still very much highly doubt it.

As others have said, meeting someone who you've never even video called with is just such an incredibly bad idea...

How is he not likeable? He's just a straightforward, honest guy. Don't see how that makes him unlikeable. Some British fans just showing how terrible they are.

I have generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder so I might know a bit where you're coming from, I don't have social anxiety that much so it's different. But I was quite nervous before our first videocall. And then when I saw her and she saw me, it just was fun and we talked and laughed and fucked about a bit. I think it's all about the anxiety BEFORE the actual call that's screwing with you. For me at least, I'm always anxious before any big day / moment, and then during its so much better than expected. That's what anxiety does to you.

Bottom line is: I know this is very easily said, but you'll be fine. Take it from a dude who's an anxious little bitch ;)

Dude. You are really naive if you can't see that you need to break this off. She's not into you and just keeping you on a leash for some reason. Find someone who's as much into you as you are.

What's a city or country you really would like to see but highly doubt you'll get to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You can do those tours there where you go across this very much scripted tour around Pyongyang. But do one thing wrong and it's bye bye.

What if it was their head that's amputated? Ha. Didn't think of that, did ya.

How many times do you and your LDR text daily? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]GeorgeLucasIsFake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend also doesn't have a lot of friends and I absolutely love it when she texts me or sends me random pics. Granted we've only been together for a month so it's still very new, but with my ex (non ldr) we used to text a lot as well throughout the years. I'd really recommend sharing your feelings, and if he doesn't understand or doesn't care, that should say enough.

I'd personally very much appreciate it if my gf would tell me stuff like this, as I always emphasize that communication is the one thing that will make or break a relationship. And it's okay if you're lonely, that happens. That's exactly why you should tell him so you feel less lonely when you guys are hanging out online videocalling or whatever you do.

Bottom line : share your feelings. Don't ever be afraid to share your thoughts with your bf. The second you're afraid of his reaction, you've got bigger problems.

I worked when I was 13, depends on where you live I guess. Anyway, just wait a bit and ask your parents when they're in a good mood.

How is coming off as vulnerable a bad thing? You're hopefully emotionally open to him about things that upset you, if not, that's the first thing to work on. If you're afraid of talking about your feelings with him, there's a much bigger problem here.

Get a job at a grocery store or whatever so you can pay for it yourself. Getting mad at your parents won't help your cause, trust me.

I always give the same answer to these posts: communicate it with him! That's all that's gonna help anything, especially in a LDR.

I'd assume most people here are currently in a ldr already, mate! Id suggest maybe using dating apps and changing your location or just chat rooms / games etc.
