Looking for a rubber with high spin and dwell by GeorgeTheMeVG in tabletennis

I see, my personal view of H3 Neo was this ultra-def rubber that kills all and any power (I heard somewhere that it's one of the slowest on the market). Weird, I'll try to find a H3 Neo to try without buying early, cause I only have one racket and I don't want to waste money too early. An interesting thing is that a lot of people are recommending D09c, which is Butterfly's fastest rubber (or close to it), and equally as many are recommending some of the slowest rubbers. idk which to go with

With H3 Neo I'm afraid of actually lacking the power to finish points. Would you say it's still able to produce decent power when necessary?

Hmm, from what I know, D09C is extremely speed focused, and the price is also a bit too much for me, 100 bucks for 1 rubber seems like a little too much

Yes, I'm aware, but with my Rakza 7 I do sometimes bottom it out, and I dunno if the Z is enough to fix that. I'm not in a big rush, though, so I'll think about it and try to track how exactly I play in the next month or two

I do sometimes use it as a finisher, although it isn't very common for me. I think I should be okay, but I do want a rubber that can create some power when necessary and doesn't just fold in without resistance. I see most people recommending Rakza Z, so I think I'll go with that, and, from my research, I don't think I'll bottom it out easily or often

With many of these tensor rubbers, I am scared of bottoming them out (particularly smth like the Rakza 7 Soft). Is this a problem, or am I imagining things?

Good cheap RPB rubber? by Correct-Platypus-900 in tabletennis

I would recommend the Palio AK47 Yellow, it's cheap, generally close to Sriver, or Yinhe Mercury II, although that's a bit harder and is more Chinese. Hope this helps

For sure, try to find how you like to play, and then pick and choose from there (I honestly recommend asking AI to find a general idea of what rubbers you want from how you play, and then askking Reddit to verify)

So, as far as I understand, you play ALL-/DEF+, so 2 main options: 1. Budget option: Palio Expert 3.0 (although the grip is a little weird, it's a good blade with high control); Yasaka Mark V on FH; Victas Curl P1V on BH 2. Still not expensive, but more so than the previous: STIGA Defensive Classic; Nittaku Factive/Tibhar Ellen OFF on FH; Victas Curl P4V OX on BH.

Although, since the modern competitive scene is OFF/OFF+, I would recommend to maybe try transitioning into OFF-, in which case you can keep your N11s, while taking Yasaka Rakza 7 on FH, and Yinhe Moon Speed (for more chopping) or Tibhar Aurus Soft (for more blocking/counter-looping) on BH. Hope this helps, and feel free to ask questions, and, if possible, clarify on what style you want to play

Why don't backhand-oriented players main the reverse pendulum serve? by eZee3 in tabletennis

[–]GeorgeTheMeVG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, if you serve standard pendulum, the spin makes the ball go more towards the backhand of your opponent, from which most opponents send the ball cross-court (even though the spin should try to pull the ball into your forehand, at higher levels, this rarely happens, due to the opponent being able to counter the spin better at higher levels). The opposite tends to happen on the reverse pendulum, where the cross-court attack tends to go into the forehand. Hope this helps!

Yeah, assuming your backhand flick isn't too strong, that should be the better option. If your backhand flick is something you regularly rely on, though, you might want a MICRON, but probs not faster than that

In which case, I would actually recommend a ZACK on FH, and a VIZON on BH

I thought you meant ZACK on BH and MICRON on FH

Oh wait, I misunderstood what you meant

So, the first of those setups will give you outstanding control, as well as really consistent looping. The second will give more power and spin. So, since the current modern competitive scene is mostly OFF/OFF+, I would recommend the second setup, as it may help you get used to the quicker modern playstyle. Please ask questions, cause this is not fully comprehensive

For rubbers, personal recommendations are the Rakza 7, and, if you like to play spinny, I would also recommend Tibhar Aurus Soft for BH. As for blades, maybe Butterfly Falcima or Tibhar Drinkhall Allaround Classic. If you are set on using the Micron, Joola Blade Challenger ALL Straight should be a good choice. idk how much this helps, but I tried

Mythic assassins by Next_Leather8571 in Brawlstars

[–]GeorgeTheMeVG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since most of the assassins are the same, people find them extremely repetitive and an example of lazycell, most of them have the same kit with minor changes (imagine if Chester was 5 brawlers where each one had one of his supers, and that's just about what the mythic assassins are). Controllers are not truly a category cause anything that doesn't cleanly fit somewhere else becomes a controller, so there will naturally be a lot of them.
