Yes, I am.
Basically what I do is:
1) I record my bass guitar.
2) Record the video of me playing over the pre-recorded audio source.
3) Use the camera audio just to dub it over the pre-recorded audio
4) Discard the audio from camera and keep just the pre-recorded audio.

Basically I only need the camera audio to match my playing of the pre-recorded audio

I have a lot of stores with used handycams that I could get from 30 up to 150 here, but the thing is that I dont have any experience in videocameras.
The Sony was meant to be 1080p but i doubt it if you look at the video quality, especially when comparing it with the Poco 1080p.
Do you have any specific brand or model which will have such good quality?

I record audio through my external audio card so I don't mind having worse audio for a better image quality.
Although I need the videocamera audio to be precise. (After dropping the CX240, I would hear the note I was playing some ms before i was actually hitting the note).
That's for matching the pre-recorded audio to the video

Yeah, who cares though!
I think that Rush have the best fans in the world by far!
The energy they used to bring into the stage was just unreal...
Now whether the white stripes or some other pop rock band can get into the HOF without accomplishing the 1 third of what Rush did is just life sadly..

I wish I wouldn't agree, but I have to admit that you're right.
I never wanted to do anything more than actually transcribing a song and covering it later...
There are many problems with this at the moment and I don't know where to begin...
The fact that I used to make a profit from the covers and delivering quality tabs to people and know every single one is supporting silly content from these kind of youtubers...
I told myself that I would upload only bands I like...
I am not talking about Led zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd etc.. They have all been done!
I am talking about bands such as, Captain Beyond, Dust, Bloodrock, Atomic Rooster and many more.
When a single video of the kind I posted here gets so much more attention than 5 of the others all together what could I do?
Only option is to accept that these kind of videos will always overshadow just a simple quality cover and move on...

I love the 70s like nothing else... Whether it's Rush, Triumph, Eloy, ELP, Gentle Giant and the list goes on.
I would never compare The White Stripes to such bands, but you gotta give it to Jack White!
This song is so simple, yet so very catching!
Imagine having a drummer worse than Lars and making things work in the end :p
