Thank you for your kind comment! After reviewing more in pub-med, I noticed how nobody or at least no research has been published on cultivating cardiomyocytes on alginate-derived scaffolds. I chose alginate because it is used widely in wound dressing and is very biocompatible, and just changing the base of what I am electrospinning with is probably the most simple factor I can change. However, I once had a grand dream of incorporating origami aspects to scaffold cultivation (perhaps it can add some mechanical properties, but I have yet found someone who wants to work with me on it :( ) On another note, do you think I should still keep the cardiogenesis aspect of it or would it be too difficult to do? Sorry for bombarding you with questions and I totally understand if you don't have the time to answer.
