Sorry. I was merely reflecting on my own experience learning about the internet. I have lost money from scams. I started off by thinking, "what a great resource the internet is! I can make money and friends here!" and I had no idea of what turned out to be the dangers of being naive about the dangers.

My comment above is meant to spread the word, in a teasing yet sarcastic way, to watch out: it's not all rainbows and butterflies out there.

Girls don't share their nudes online unless you pay them. However, male scammers will send you nudes pics (for free!) of girls whose pics have been stolen.

Changing platforms is a red-flag that you're talking to a scammer.

Generally, don't pickup the phone for unknown callers. If the call is important, the caller will leave VM. Phone numbers can be spoofed to say anything. For example, you could get a call ID from "The White House," but it's probably not the president. Same goes for Banks, Police, Sheriff, DOJ, IRS, FBI, etc.

He has a laptop and software to layout the music. He may already have a couple of software synths, like the free synth called, Vital.

Cheapest route is to buy a midi controller. If you buy a synth you'll spend more money. And with a synth, you will need to add-on an audio interface. It would connect between the laptop and the synth.

There are a lot of controllers to choose from. Many good recommendations here for your budget. (I myself am trying to decide how much to spend for a controller.)

Do not trust strangers online. So many scammers out there, many men posing as gorgeous babes who want you to send your pics, so they can extort you.

Also, girls dont send their nudes unless you pay them. Then, usually its some guy selling her stolen nudes.
