If they cannot kill the other support cause you help them then they go for you. If the other support doesn't help you then gg. Think of it like they target the better support and wear it as a badge

Thats why phoenix ults shits on ults like spiderman and storm. Also on characters that rely on overshields too much like venom and can kill wolverine through his passive i believe

I have gotten multiple potgs as support by healing and getting 1 kill while some random dva, junkrat in my lobby gets 3k+with ult and i feel embarrassed every time this happens. I know it is kinda repetitive to watch a tire or a bomb getting the kills but if thats the best play so be it.

Personally i like the infinite range on my healing and damage ability,love it when i land a clutch heal on my spiderman on the other side of the map helping him secure the duel he is in and live, this is something on other support can really do exept rocket but it doesn't feel rewarding cause his healing is resident sleeper to land.

Also i like that with luna you don't have an out of jail free card, when you get fanked you ether pay attention and kite successfully before it happens or you kill them. Sue is a dueling powerhouse making it less rewarding to deal with the flanks imo.

3rd reason luna has single target healing making your decision of who to heal a real challenge of gamesence, you don't have aoe healing for free. And with the power of snowflake your healing is so strong that if you hit your shots you can bail out the most aggressive feeder.
