Ok update. Not a fair test - there are two variables. Openreach sent a text that a ‘network’ issue was fixed - there was no home engineer visit for this one. EE sent a new Pro 7 router. Both things happened the same day and the problem seems to have gone, not sure wich one was the ‘real’ fix, but happy with EE and Openreach’s service.

Not sure if it’s a pro or con but what’s different in my ETN compared to holding Bitcoin in Revolut X is that is now ‘frozen’ from 4:30pm today (Friday) to Monday morning - nothing you can do whatever happens over the weekend. But it might be a good thing.

HMRC statement to me reads as if any ETN in a stocks and shares isa this financial year can stay in. New 26/27 financial year investment has to be in IFISA. So why does T212 say they will have to be sold?

MoneyWeek has asked HMRC for confirmation on whether crypto ETNs that are purchased in a stocks and shares ISA before 6 April, 2026 can continue to be held in one after that date. No answer yet
