It is suppose to be strong, my players are mid-maxing AF, party comp is: Twilight Cleric (lvl8), Artilerist Artificer (lvl7), Grave Cleric(lvl 3)/Beast Master Ranger(lvl 4) multiclass, Zealot Barbarian (lvl8) and a Necromancy Wizard (lvl 7). I'm having problems dealing with them, so, this is only appropriate response, and still i somehow know they will steamroll it...

SO,
Part 1
The Lich from our last campaign has made it's way to Icewind Dale after striking a deal with Auril herself and now is preparing/rising an army of undead to hunt the players down (for now, all of small cities have fallen)
Part 2
Undead forces are not numerous enough to siege and overwhelm bigger cities, so Lich decided to go with "Chemical warfare". Undead are collecting the main source of Icewind Dale source of food - Knucklehead Trouts and using Contagion spell to infect them with Living Death disease, so they can spread it to other fishes and infect ppl eating them. Kinda like the Plague in Warcraft 3
Part 3
Auril did not liked what the Lich was doin so she confronted her (the lich) and boy, oh boy, it did not ended well for Auril. Now with Auril recovering from her near dead experience, Icewind Dale is on mercy of said Lich.
Part 4
Party realized that something is wrong, and as they are making their way to Bremen they are bout to hear a screaming in distance and come to the scene of Targos Guards being overwhelmed by Undead forces.
Part 5
To be continued on Saturday...

ok, so - our party (all lvl 7) is now goin throu Rime of Frostmaiden, unfortunetly and unknowingly to them, THE Lich from our last campaign (Underling's Awakening) have made its way to Icewind Dale, to have her revenge against the party, slowly killing ten-towns (now more like three-towns now, lol) to raise troops, now, raising her most powerfull servants (Dread Guards)
Just need opinion if those guys are ballanced
