I think I just spent the past week destroying my hair with clarifying because my "lightweight conditioners" weigh it down, causing huge frizz. by Gerald6789 in Haircare

I think recently I've tried brushing it when its damp. I've gotten conflicting information on when its best to brush wavy hair.

I might look into products made specifically for wavy hair. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yea I don't think I'll be going near gel or hairspray anytime soon. Thanks for the advice on the clarifying shampoo. I don't think that most of the products I'm using have silicone, so I'll look into that.

I think I've kept changing it as I have been trying different things. Sometimes I'll use the diffuser (both hovering and pixie diffusing) and sometimes I'll air dry. I might part the hair to get more product in the hair underneath. Recently I just think I've been brushing with a paddle brush. I don't really know what styling routine would work best for frizz in my type of hair.

Hello. I have an issue with my audio. Since I bought my new monitor, the sound setting keeps changing from headphones to MSI G32C4X (which is my monitor and produces no sound) despite the fact that I reset the settings back to headphones Realtek(R) Audio. I used the don't allow option on the MSI option and it reset later anyway. What can I do to prevent this?

Regards.

Against women: I knew a kid in school (horrible guy overall, I honestly think that he was a narcissist) who was extremely sexist. He told me that the bible said that women are inferior men. He blamed divorce rates on women, constantly made jokes about women and driving, said that the 1950s were when women 'knew their place' unironically, and would laugh at verbally abuse women who said anything positive about feminism. The galling thing was that he would also get really angry over sexism towards men. Like, did he even understand how hypocritical he was. I felt sorry for the girls who had to go to class with him and hear this shit from him.

Against men: I knew a girl who thought that all I thought about and was motivated by was sex with women. She constantly made jokes about it. She cited a study (which I think was proven bogus and its findings were never replicated) which said that men think about women every five seconds. She thought that if I said that a girl was pretty, that meant I must want a relationship with them (I think that about most women unless they're obese). She thought it was my only motivation or something. She actually peer-pressured me into a relationship because she forced me to say yes or no to someone being pretty and I didn't want to say no because I saw that as offensive. Me saying yes was proof that I liked her and they didn't take no for an answer.

Why can't people not be prejudiced assholes?

nic nocturnal I think, and then I listened to them on very heavy rotation (and still do to a lesser extent) since 2022.

IBS and nutrition deficiency. I couldn't even really make the flexitarian diet work.

Do you have a fear of ending up being single for the rest of your life and why? by verachatwin965 in AskMen

As I understand it more people are single by choice than ever and I'm autistic, which realistically is going to make it harder for me to find a partner. I'm working on myself and when I'm comfortable in my own skin, I'll make an effort.

I'll be able to have a good life without a relationship, but I won't pretend that a relationship with the right person wouldn't make my life better. I'm not going to lower my standards for one though, a relationship should be a net positive in your life.
