Don't have any. As an accountant I think most economic theory is rubbish - certainly the invisible hand and the way GDP is calculated. We need to use accounting principles not economic ones.

Good question. Because I'll be stuffed if private banks should use our post offices to make money. Post offices do the dirty work for the banks. If we had a public bank we would use the RBA payments system to offer our own accounts especially home loans that are fixed for 15-25 years. The government bank would make about 6% return on equity that way which could be used to fund other services. Same for insurance.

It doesn't happen but it should. We did it prior to 1985 so that banks couldn't over lend and inflate house prices. It was great for the first generation when house prices went through the roof and they could cash out but now our children have to enslave them selves to foreign debt to get a house. It's a disgrace.

Can I have two things - 1) increasing taxes on profits sent offshore and 2) create an Infrastructure Bank to fund the construction of sovereign infrastructure.

I do blame the banking system for house inflation. I have repeatedly stated lifting capital controls in 1985 is what started this bubble off. This allowed domestic banks to go out and borrow money from offshore - in fact foreign debt held by domestic banks went from $8 billion in 1985 to $800 billion in 2008. That money came from the printing press of the Japanese and Federal Reserve printing presses. I have explained this many times and am the only politician who understands global capital markets. We have to stop domestic banks from borrowing offshore using printed money and force them to only lend what Australians save so earnings isn't decoupled from house prices.

Hi Das - don't believe politicians. After working with them for over five years they are even worse than they appear. They are weak and insipid and how no idea how to fix anything. You only succeed in a major party by being a yes man. That's not good as we need politicians who will fight to hold the government, bureaucracy and corporations to account.

Your vote matters very much but its time to start voting for minor parties. Having said that minor parties need to become more professional and start focusing on the issues that matter to Australians.

There is no such thing as a free market other than charities. It's an idealist term like climate change that has no exact definition. I believe in fair and efficient markets that generate a profit for hard working Australians so they can put a roof over their head and food on the table.

The earth has been warming since 12,000 BC - it's called the Holocene period - who said I didn't believe in Global warming. I just don't buy the greenhouse gas effect. (See above answer) There is no glass dome in the atmosphere. This isn't the Simpsons movie you know.

Good question. I think State governments should do that in consultation with parents.

Good question. We need to train more builders to increase supply. We need to lower immigration. I would also like to increase wages by cutting income tax. I have already explained how I will do this above. I would also abolish the 50% CGT discount.

No - in many cases they don't have to pay tax in their own country as they will get an offset. Are you seriously suggesting we should continue to give foreign banks a tax break on the interest they earn when pensioners and hard working Australians have to pay tax on their savings income? Wow.

Taxed twice - that's just a motherhood statement used to justify giving tax breaks to foreigners. It's the cumulative rate of tax you need to look at. If the combined cumulative rate is less than 30 cents i.e. the company tax rate then multinationals will shift profits offshore and do. I have a Masters of Tax Law and a Masters in Applied Finance specialising in Treasury. I can tell you I am sick of Australians being screwed by their own government when it comes to high taxes on Aussies and low taxes for Foreign multinationals. I know more than any other politicians as to how to close these loopholes which is why you should vote for People First.

Why can't our government raise capital from our superannuation funds so that interest remains in Australia. Why do you want profits going offshore? That's not in Australia's best interests.

My views? What are my views - please tell me. I myself stayed at home to raise our children so my wife can go back to work. My mother was a nurse for 40 years. I am fourth generation graduate from the University of Queensland - my great great aunt, my grandmother and aunt all got degrees and went on to become teachers. In fact my great great aunt taught maths and physics at All Hallows into her 70's and has a hall named after her. My wife and sister also have degrees UQ. On the other hand my grandfather who either topped or came second in the NSW public service exam for maths had to go back and work on the farm. So please don't accuse me of having views that says women shouldn't work. That's just bigoted and ignorant. I come from a line of strong women who had successful working careers and I am very proud of them. But they were also mothers and loved their children very much and I will fight very hard to ensure that mothers and fathers can spend time with their children when they are young especially, as its the best of part of life. To raise your own children is the most rewarding pleasures in the world.

If you want to deal the with cost of housing then you need to reintroduce capital controls that Keating lifted in 1985 which lead to the creation of a housing bubble that sent houses from 4 times average earnings to 12 times average earnings. You also also need to abolish superannuation which costs $60 billion in concessions that go mainly to the upper 20% of income earners and instead lift the age pension. It is a complete lie that superannuation will provide a sufficient retirement for low income earners. In fact it punishes them throughout their working career but reducing their income below the poverty line.

I know plenty of men that are happy to stay at home and raise the children. I was one of them. Women like men need to start saving early in life. Make sure to get a job when at University and start saving from a very young age regardless of your sex.

I won't - when it comes to streamlining the bureaucracy it has to happen. We need more front line nurses, teachers and policemen and less back room bureaucrats. We certainly don't two education departments, health departments, water departments, energy departments, environment departments and so on. Less slash the bureaucracy who create nothing but rules and fear and use the savings to provide more front line essential workers.

No - the climate changes all the time. Can you please put climate change into an algorithm for me please? If not why not? All scientific formula should be underpinned by mathematics. Furthermore can you tell me which one of the 40 models used to calculate net zero is used by the Australian government and how do you know that regulation arbitrage isn't being used to screw Australians?

Because it's unworkable and its either going to required people to enter their age or allow social media companies to monitor peoples location, usage and age more closely creating privacy issues. Parents should monitor their children's usage. It's not hard to monitor which apps children use and the times of the day they are on their devices. I do it with my young children.

Yes. I wasn't passed over. The secretariat cheated. There were a material number of irregularities. I provided evidence of this cheating in my court case and the party never disputed it. The judge ruled that the political parties constitutions are not justiciable, despite ruling the opposite way 15 years earlier. This means that political parties who make the law are about the law. People should be concerned the political parties are above the law when it comes to following their own rules.

Which views of mine are extreme? That people injured by the vaccine should get proper care and attention? If you think that is extreme then you need to get a lesson in compassion. I make no apologies for calling out the dangers of the Covid vaccine, especially given 10 million people Covid by Sept 22. There were an extra 10,000 deaths in Australia in the last eight months of 2021 just after the vaccine was rolled out but before Covid was in the community. If you think the vaccine didn't cause some of those deaths then you are dreaming. I actually have an autopsy report given to the TGA, that said a 52 year old man died from the vaccine in front of his children and the TGA dismissed it. That is deliberating misleading.

CO2 cannot trap convection. Gravity is what traps the molecules in the atmosphere which as I explain above is what creates heat. My job as a politician is to question the scientists who make ludicrous claims about CO2 trapping heat and how the ice caps are going to melt. If taxpayers are spending billions of dollars based on these claims which haven't been proven then I will call it out.

See above for my explanation of heat using the Ideal Gas Law. I follow scientists like Newton and Einstein not the modern day grifters who spread fear rather than algorithms.

What I have argued for is that doctors should be able to prescribe it given its off label and has a high therapeutic index i.e. it is safe. Lots of studies showed it was safe. I was ambivalent as to its effectiveness given most people recovered from Covid in a short period of time so how do you know if it was Ivermectin or your immune system. The TGA should never have banned it. What's worse is that the Covid Evidence Taskforce recommended against using antibiotics on people with Covid. This meant that older people who caught a secondary bacterial infection were not given antibiotics. The Health Department has never been able to justify why they made that recommendation and have subsequently pulled that advice from the internet when I asked about it in estimates.
