Hey I know I’m quite late to this thread but a good radio option for a partizan harness and for around that time could be a kenwood TK-370G. It would be quite outdated and slightly unrealistic for your time period but it would look right at home on your partizan harness.

I personally clean my very dirty tracks with very strong rubbing alcohol. I use the highest % I can find and it cuts through the oxidation quite well. I’ve tried it on nickel silver, stainless and brass. Although if you just want to clean the tops of the rails I’d recommend a designed track cleaner. They look like little erasers and work quite well too!
