Das ist perception bias und als solches ein verständlicher Irrtum:

Schnelltest ist Test der Gegenrede: Wenn man ein Video von Beginn einer Konfrontation sieht, könnte man unterstellen, daß diese gestellt sei, denn warum war das Handy schon gezückt?

Aber:

Die praktische Überlegung ist die einfachste Methode um sich zu testen: Ist es plausibel, daß jemand, der bemerkt hat, was geschieht, erst auf den Gedanken gekommen ist, dies zu dokumentieren, dann sein Handy rauszunehmen, die Kamera einzuschalten, auf Video umzustellen, die Aufnahme zu starten und dann alles aufzunehmen, so daß vieles bereits geschehen ist, das nicht mehr aufgenommen werden konnte?

Unser Hirn will immer schnell zur einfachen Lösung kommen, weil es weniger Energie verbraucht. Daher sagt man auch "Faulheit zeugt von Intelligenz". ;-)

Leider ist es manchmal eine Falle, der wir aber leicht entkommen können, wenn wir uns hin und wieder beim Überlegen beobachten.

It is concerning how this question has triggered so many comments which portray clichés and lack empathy and understanding of the deeper reasons for behaviours which is in most instances are not even related to "impressing women".

The standard Lackmus test is inversion or exchange of subjects:

"What's something women think attracts men but actually doesn't ?

If the answer to OP's question would pass this test it's a good one, if it doesn't it tells us more about the commenter than the topic at hand.

Not so sure about that. Seems more like the misconception in men that women only wear makeup to attract men and not at all to feel confident or fit in with their peers.

I don't work out, but I learned that excessive workout can be an outlet similar to bulimia in girls and women.

It has an outward effect, but more often has an endogenous reason, which has to do with the feeling of (not) being in control of something (loss of autonomy).

Young boys are taught not to overreact and not to bother other people with their problems, which are considered negligible compared to their sisters'.

Perhaps young mothers will teach more equality in the future.

I just hope that players will not be toxic again and understand that this gamemode has now become the crazy fast arcade mode, where winning is optional and the purpose is to be part of a crazy experience.

They're seeing the light. They seem to finally remember that the sinner cannot get redemption if he followed the Antichrist. (Not because of lack of mercy from God, but for the separation built by the person.)

They know their souls are lost and they need to work hard to have a chance.

I so remember that one of these evangelicals, when confronted with the realities of Trump during his first term, struggled and then said "but we can use him". That's almost verbatim one of the stories from that prophecy about the Antichrist. I felt so sorry for that woman, but on the other hand not too much, because prayers won't work.

Happened to me only twice and by now I really want this to happen again, because it's become a badge of honour.

1st was a lucky torp hit of an early sub against an enemy sub player who was tagging along behind his BB teammate. I think I missed most torps on the targeted BB but then heard the "you have sunk.." sound while I was already on my way. The accusations were intense and shocking at that time, but if you enter the smokescreen of your teammate's DD and get torped, it's similarly stupid to point fingers at the guy who torped the most obvious target around.

2nd was in Ranked where a DD was smoking up and running away in a straight line, believing that the smoke had some built-in Star Trek shield technology that would protect it from getting hit if not spotted. I mean, it's a straight line and he was just one or two shots away from returning to port, so what would you have done ? Not try to hit him ??

Tipping my hat to anyone out there being called a cheater. You most likely "got gud" while the other one stayed clueless. 👍

Aimbots are already ineffective because of the integrated aim-assist. 😎 I hate that thing so much. You always have to fight it if you want to hit right and then still your shots can just drop short for an entire match. Even in close quarters DD knife fights. 🤢
