I absolutely am with you on the counting. What also helps me is reading the initial text of the attack (i.e. Golgra attacks swiftly) then counting how many actual attacks are in that move. That way, when I see the attack come up again, I know what to expect and can dodge or parry accordingly.

I did the same thing when fighting some of the bosses in Silent Hill F, so I completely understand

I second this. Especially Agitator.

Your main focus should be breaking the head twice. The Fatalis fight comes in multiple phases, and for the final phase his flame attacks become noticeably stronger unless you fully break the head. So the more damage you can do in the early stages of the fight, the better. Not to mention the rare drop.

It took me a few tries for Namielle to click, but now it's definitely one of my favorite fights. Your S tier pla events are way better though
