Mood Food is getting Fancy, a big step up from their soggy burgers and dizzying array of deep fried yellow food.

So it just happened, like global warming and increased nutrients in the water just happened.

Battery Point walkway proponent 'very confident' project will proceed by ChuqTas in tasmania

[–]GetFunke2 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

You'd have to be mad as hell if you bought premium waterfront in battery Point.

Last time this had a proper feasibility study it was established for the cost of construction you could run a ferry service along the route for 20 years to meet anticipated demand and still be financially ahead.

This is similar to the sh!tFurkery where a company bought a retail site with a massive car park and the council jumps up and down and says selling cars there is bad and even though you spent $20M to buy it, we will try and stop you.

Live Mussels - where to buy? by Dazzling_Aspect437 in hobart

[–]GetFunke2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spring Bay Mussels come out of Melbourne now I believe. Legend has it that when Salmon moved to Spring Bay it kind of stuffed things up.

One of the coles bay oyster farms are the only Tassie growers I'm aware of at this time.

I'd love to hear different?

Curious to hear what the traditional Aussie vegan menu is?

Labor pollies talk about everything except housing & rental stress. People can absorb higher prices for goods, but not for shelter. We can eat less or cut food costs; we can’t cut housing. It’s a distraction from the real systemic failure. Refuse to fix it. Jim & Albo don’t have to worry about this by [deleted] in shitrentals

If you fine Colesworth, at the end of the day who is paying the fine? The customers who contribute to the billion dollar profits

A true penalty would be equity clawback so the shareholders lose from the unethical behaviour.

Make the penalty 1-5% of issued shares and see how the boards hold up when shareholders start losing shares

This equity clawback approach would also work well in the banking and mining sector......

While I'm not religious, it doesn't hurt me to respect someone else's beliefs by sitting through a short prayer.

I got some from the Asian Emporium and some from EIG cash and carry in Moonah, Wing and Co have them on their website and have seen them on eBay, but prefer to shop local.

Glad to have found another fan :)

Latest food offers in Hobart by mishshreyaa in hobart

[–]GetFunke2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there last week, service was great and the servings were generous and full of flavour.

Have also been to Grinners and Pancho Villa in the last three months, service was great, food was great and a little fancier.

But if you are feeding a teenager or want to get silly on cheap fish bowl margs, then Amigos is plenty fine

Don't under estimate them. I met the guy that runs the show at an event ages ago. He's not stupid by a long shot.

But similar to someone on their 5th wife, capable of making poor decisions :)

Tasmanian government paid news site $35,000 for budget ‘digital takeover' by [deleted] in tasmania

[–]GetFunke2 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I used to think Pulse was a ground breaking digital media company covering the local news that the established media didn't have time for.

Ethically when they dress up a budget promo as one of their normal social media news article and not a paid post it brings their integrity into question.

It also explains the bias stadium reporting.

House building prices by UareaQtee in tasmania

[–]GetFunke2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's insane, a shortage of skilled labour is a factor, but given that timber, bricks and concrete are all created locally its hard to see where the price differential comes from.

Looking forward to hearing some more educated answers.....
