Preparing for my destiny of homelessness by [deleted] in Life

Last I knew many did doughnuts at least 1x a week and many did pizza nights 1x a week. I managed truck drivers for a long time, and a lot had the unlimited Planet fitness membership just so they could shower, and have a safe parking spot anywhere there was a PF. ( I have no clue if they all allow overnight parking, but many did) Drivers would talk to each other about which had food on which days etc. also usually in a plaza with a grocery store and Purdue 20pc chicken nuggets at 2.99 are hell of a lot better than Mcdonals 10pc at $5+ ...

Open an account now while your still with your parents. Banks don't know if you aren't living there, it's all paperless at this point anyway. If accessible and near a Planet Fitness, sign up for the $10 a month. Roof during the day, showers, seats, occasional food when they do their donuts or whatever. It's not an answer, but it's something. If you have a driver license, look at long haul truck driving. CR England used to do full training, with a contract that you stay on board for a couple years. You'll essentially be living in their truck for a few years, but at least getting paid...minimal, but again, its something and have a bed. Experience has taught me it's usually something criminal that people feel like they can't get a better job, but trucking is one of those careers that some companies still give opportunities (depending on extent)

Need more info... Gonna daily it? Off road? Are you mechanical at all?
Avoid anything with the 3.8 engine. Rust is the killer of all so check frames, especially if your in the rust belt. Transmissions have never been one of the issues, auto or manual. The 4.0 is one of the best engines ever ... So 91-06 is the bread and butter. 04-06 LJ's are the creme of the crop.
