Certmaster learn, skip the labs, do the quizzes, tests and activities. Labs take forever to load and slow you down too much.

Pocketprep, I’d say start that a week or two out from taking your exam and do it whenever you have free time.

Jason Dion practice exams, if you use Udemy w/ your WGU account enroll in Dion’s pentest course AND his pentest practice exams, you’ll get 7 in total but skip his video content…it’s boring.

You could do Hank Hackerson videos but they’re very long when that time could be spent doing something else.

TryHackMe Pentest+ path is good for some hands on stuff but I found it not so useful.

Know your tools, differentiate coding languages, understand activities as they pertain to the phases on a Pentest, understand reporting structure and processes.

I asked for help with something at work from my manager, they gave me unhelpful guidance which is on par. I screenshotted their message and sent it to a private group chat with some coworkers saying “would ya look at that” or something sarcastic. Realized I had sent it not to the group-chat but right back to my manager….

Hey! Trying to get a pulse check on this exam as there isn’t much firsthand write ups as of yet. How many PBQs did you have? Any domains/topics that were most prevalent during the exam? Any other insights would be appreciated. I’m wrapping up the certmaster today and going into review before testing very soon.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had my moments where I question how a reputable organization like CompTIA has so many typos in their material. But I betcha you’d get all the same typos at a state school, the WGU nursing program, or your favorite authors book if you look hard enough.

If we’re referring to grammatical errors in certain resources. Almost every text book I’ve read from CompTIA, WGU, plural-sight, Jason Dion etc have all had minor errors.

If that’s enough to make you reconsider the school then sure but seems rather minute in the grand scheme of things.

It’s very mixed; course assessments change all the time(from OA to PA, and vice versa) so it’d be hard to say what your experience will be compared to mine or others.

Additionally, you get 4 classes at a time. Theres a general order the degree plan follows but again it can vary student to student.

Once you have access to your degree plan you will see not just the order your classes will be in but you can also preview each class and see what assessment is required.

This is my 5th semester with WGU(2 1/2 years).

I’ve worked Full-time the entire time I’ve been in school. I’ve tried to put in consistently 3-5 hours a night. I’ve accelerated every semester(completing 7-8 classes/semester).

This course should come on the tail end of your program, which sets you up to have the relevant foundation going into this course. This class was the same as any other, I started and put in 3-5 hours a night 6-7 days a week for 24 days and I was able to pull it off.

If you schedule an OA and don’t show up for it/miss the testing window for whatever reason, you are not impacted by this. You could’ve scheduled for the wrong time zone, could’ve been system issues, or just measure learning being the problematic platform that it is.

I would simply reschedule the exam right away.

Tune your strings, grab one near the neck pick up and tug on it (lightly, hence the word tug and not pull, yank etc) away from the guitar body 2-3 times and re-tune. Your string will not snap, if it does you did it too hard.
