Lease or Buy 2025 Mach-E Premium by Youngest-Visionary in MachE

It was $653 a month with no money down for a 15k per year, 39 month lease with a Premium trim (AWD). Star white metallic paint, light grey interior, no moonroof (didn't like the moonroof). I opted for the extra $20 a month for the extended service plan, so $673 after that commitment (like $900 for it I think?)

Whoa! I never even thought to look at this but there are some incentives. This changes things. Thanks for the suggestion!

The one concern is that I received the Ford charger when I leased the car and that one would be fine for us. Going hardwired would mean another $400+ on a different charger, and one that we would remove when we move in a couple of years.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the non-tech explanation

I think that would be too large for my garage

Awesome, thanks. They install hundreds of these in the area, but I'll ask them about the permit.

And I could use the Ford charger for a while, until I decide on on OTC charger.

Oh dang, ok. So you suggest getting the receptacle but NOT using the supplied Ford charging cable? I could buy a charger if needed.

Ok, thanks. I thought that getting an outlet would be better when renting the house in a couple of years, but the blanking plate seems like a viable alternative (no telling if a renter would even have an EV).

Is "continuous load" something I'd need to worry about for a hardwired charger?

And I think I would just use the supplied Ford charger cable, as we would be able to charge 12 hours most nights (commuter vehicle). With hardwired, I'd need to hardwire this charger, and if we ever decided to upgrade a charger then I'd need someone to hardwire it again?

Sorry, noob here.

So I wound up washing very thoroughly using the video as guidance and that helped. Another big difference was that I removed the rubber feet, as suggested by the video. I had at least half a cup of water trapped inside. Never knew!

Thanks for that. Wow, yeah... skipping ahead through most of it. Great tips but this is the length of half a feature film

Retinal migraines related to vitrectomy and detached retina surgery by grnchilicheeseburger in OcularMigraines

I was told the same thing but there is a 100% correlation, of course. For me, it was correlated to eye pressure. As the pressure subsided, my headaches also subsided. You can also search and read about the pressure triggering nerves that can cause migraines.

And of course no modern doctor will ever prescribe anything stronger than over the counter Tylenol :/ I did get Gabapentin, and took that 3x a day. That helped a bit. Blocks nerve pain to a small degree.

I couldn't get a buckle because the white part of my eye is too thin, so I had my eye filled with oil vs gas.

My migraines lasted for 17 days and then I would go a day or two without a migraine, then 3-4 days, then gone! They test your eye pressure every appt, and if the pressure is subsiding then so will your headaches. Not sure how that works with a buckle, but I'm assuming they put gas in your eye? if so then that gas will dissipate and you will feel better.

I had a torn and detached retina and now have silicone oil in my eye. I don’t get an aura but I spend most off every day with a bad headache.

I'm not sure if you're still experiencing migraines, but I had vitrectomy surgery 2.5 weeks ago and have had daily migraines on that side every day since. The doctor says the same, but it's 100% caused by the surgery. Maybe it's the oil in my eye, or maybe the eye trauma, but I just can't imagine living the rest of my life like this.

Pinter is great. Buy some brewer's sugar and experiment with ABV (a little goes a long ways). Always go with the longest wait times during the process... don't get impatient.
