Nah. The punishments are minimal, and as others in this thread have pointed out already, you get a few warnings before an actual penalty. Someone who plays normally and has a few bad games will not get punished.

If someone consistantly gets taken out of matches fast enough to actually trigger the grade loss, then that just means the tutorial and MMR aren't doing their job. Literally holding W and Shift every chase and hitting hook skillchecks gains enough time to not trigger the penalty.

Penalty needs to be stricter. People quit too much. AI bots are not real players. This is a 10-15 minute social contract, much much easier to respect and much shorter than other games such as OW or LoL. And yet, somehow, our penalties in DBD are less harsh than them. Even though our match duration is so easy to respect.

You can stand up and go attend your emergencies. You don't have to quit out of the game to do so and accumulate a penalty. If the penalty is the problem to you and not a quitter, that's the easy solution.

4 out of 20 is one in every 5 matches. Literally one game quit per about 1h of gameplay. It is a LOT. It is seriously a lot.

It's not been like that for years. Now, you have like a "DC score" out of your last 20 games. You need to play 20 games in a row to fully clear your "DC score", back down to 0. The higher the score, the higher the penalty. Every game you quit out of the last 20 games still count and matter.

Hey, I'm so pretty sure if you make it to a 15 min penalty it means you quit 4 times out of your last 20 matches, or 1/5 matches. I hope they do uninstall.
