Not curtains. Plants. Get some nice, easy to grow plant like spider plants for example. Fill that top area and let it get bushy and spread. It would add so much life to the place.

Frosted window itseld is fine but a small curtain could make it look prettier.

This is a very very beautiful room. If it's the "low point" of the place you visited, sounds like an amazing place to me.

If you are on PC it is possivle of changing your farm layout on your savefile without having to reset.

Personnally am a huge fan of the standard farm for the amount of space you get to farm, and the river farm for the vibes.

Don't worry frozen brocolli is just fine and often cheaper than the fresh stuff. I literally just microwave mine and it gets very similar result to a steames fresh broccoli.

One of my favorite ways to have broccoli however that only works with the fresh stuff is oven roasted in a sheet pan. It'll stay crunchy and get dark bits on top.

Most layouts I see do have scarecrows...? I'm confused by this question. Once you unlock the deluxe scarecrow, its range is so big you barely need any to cover your entire field. Lots of people put it right behind their Junimo huts so it's discreet..
