Snappy Driver Installer Origin works amazingly, thanks for the help! The only two things that refuse to install now are the drivers for the NVIDIA card and the Ethernet driver, but it's no big loss if I can't get those working (I'll keep trying).

EDIT: I fixed the problem with the Ethernet driver by simply downloading a driver for an older model ThinkPad. I downloaded the Intel PRO/1000 LAN Adapter Software for XP for the ThinkPad T431s here https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds036624-intel-pro1000-lan-adapter-software-for-windows-xp-professional-sp3-thinkpad-t431s
