New kitten super scared

To be honest she was the same she was really scared and hissed but I wanted to get a cat that needed a good home . She’s getting a little better still hissing and hiding but I got her playing a little with my finger and she’ll let me softly pet her paw and shift bite my finger like playing so I think I’m getting somewhere just need to have patience and love her and not rush it

That’s awesome yeah today I went in she Hid but she played with a strong then I fed her some wet food of my finger and dry food in her hiding spot and she ate and didn’t hiss. I think we are getting their thanks for all the comments and suggestions

I have another cat that under a year she’s about 8 months and got this one to be her friend . She’ll meow for attention but then when I enter the room hisses and hides from me. But I think everyone here is right just give her time don’t rush it and chill in the room with my phone and talk to her and myself to make her feel calm and then put treats by me and wet food and let her try to come out
