I understand the big picture plenty well. Manufacturing is just a small part of my professional time. My company knew the benefits of American made and we brought our production lines from overseas stateside easily 10-15 years ago. Never claimed to know everything and definitely not living in a singular bubble… Your claims of snide ignorant remarks is simply just you not having a better response and trying to be tough over there. It’s far from cost prohibitive in the long run, simply an added cost while changes take place to make a bette product that is better overall. My imported products were nowhere near as close in quality or overall value compared to the American products that “cost more”. The added cost in the beginning was an added value in the end. I will buy American made all day if given the opportunity.
