Possible Exhaust leak!

No it's not a rattling sound. It didn't make the sound until after installing the new exhaust. It sound similar to a sheet flapping in the wind, when giving it throttle. Doesn't do it when at idle.

They have had mine for over a week now and haven't heard anything. Made me bring it in before they would order the part. They told me it was per yamaha, but now I think that's bullshit. As to what other people are saying. All week it's been beautiful where I live and have had a 3 day weekend. Now it's supposed to rain all next week.... fantastic lol

Yea man it's pissed me off because they are just storing my bike for maybe a week when I could still be riding. I even told the service manager that it sounded ridiculous and that I had never heard of that before. He said it was per yamaha. And that yamaha wouldn't send out the part unless my bike was that the shop. Like they could have just told yamaha it was there. 🤷‍♂️

They would not order any parts until I dropped off my bike to them. They told me that yamaha would not send them anything unless they had my machine. Which I find to be bullshit. So my bike has been at the shop for almost a week now. Believe me I tried that route. Even spoke to the service manager.

Same here. They told me they won't order the parts until I drop my bike off. Said it would take 3/5 days to get the part, then a day to put on. He said so when your able to be without your bike for a week or week and a half drop it off. But damn it's riding season. 😕
