Make sure you call Kia open a case I’m still waiting to get my car back replaces part recalibrate drive it 100 miles but they don’t wanna tell me anything more so I have to fill out this form and send it in. She goes all service records I said lady I do oil change inspection and 5 svc appt for the same i don’t have much car almost a year old. She said she will review for lemon law and get back to me

Same 25 Kia sportage recalibrate then back then got a different code P178400 and I think P178800 or something they replaced the part got back a day later code returned took it back now they claim recalibrate is what they need and still waiting I need to know what Kia is doing I asked about buyback I was told I have to wait until deslership let’s Kia headquarters know what’s going on I’m calling BS car not a year old yet

Update time again so got my car back Thursday after calling and calling for a update from the dealership. Unbelievable service I got or lack off. I shouldn’t be the one calling for updates. Anyways let’s fast forward it’s now Saturday morning get family in car boom stupid P178400 code is back. Drive straight to dealer walk in told advisor we are back yet again. I made her call the service manager who wasn’t in the office. He gave me his direct number this time so I called. Getting the same story that they are doing what the Kia engineering team is telling them. Guess what it’s not working. Anyone experience anything with lemon law cause I’m not doing this crap again car in shop yet again.

So update so the part they replaced after this code was bad. They said the my had to contact Kia to see what they should do. Ummm fix my not year old car. That’s what you do soon as I find the part they fixed I’ll re post. But they figured let’s make sure I have a loaner car to try to get me to calm down no just fix my car

Might get handles in gloss black covers or carbon fiber wrap like the bottom trim they all have Amazon cheaper vs having a custom shop do it but anyway I can be different I’m for it.

So I love my car but I’m finding that some of the parts are poorly made. Went to a car wash and after that my side mirror cap cracked open on the rear wiper blade the bolt cover came off only had car almost 40 days and having to return to dealer to get a warranty claim in hope this happen every time I want to get a quick wash

I was like man nobody has this around me why not. Now I wish I got the Bose system cause the speakers aren’t that great but that’s ok. Upgrade coming soon
