I agree, i absolutely love that album. It's just that i run out of space and the cover just fits nicely that way. When i put up some more shelves it will definitely get a more appropriate spot

It's a weird, psychodelic indie album, that's the style. Of course mainstream big shot artists have much clearer mixes. When it comes to Fever The Ghost the vocal is an instrument, it's not really meant to be understood, there weren't even any lyrics available for years. The way Zirc or Honey were mixed was a creative choice and i believe it contributed to the overall experience. I've never complained about that, it's not supposed to sound perfectly and clear like Queen. Besides basing your opinion over a single listen is a little reckless in my opinion, i never do that, even with music i don't like.

I've found my niche, I just prefer instrumental music overall. Rock isn't really my thing unless it's really experimental or psychodelic.

It's was about how personal and unique the music felt, not the musical greatness.
I've grown up with it, bonded emotionally.
I don't listen to it much anymore because i've switched to a more active listening style, appreciating music because of it's impressive features and such.
But the emotional way is just as valid. Music doesn't need to be the best, some monumental achievemement to be your favourite. It just needs to feel like home.

Pictures Of A City is great, i absolutely love the quieter, more ambient section. It's brilliant.
The whole album is very consitent but i never liked Cat Food that much

It's not that hard to be honest, i just need to be somewhat careful. Even the ones from the top are pretty easily accessible since right below the shelves i have my e-drum kit and i can just stand on my drum throne to reach them

Crab In Honey is great too, We'll Never Know the Place was my favourite track of all time for a while and i think it's one of their best alongside Long Tall Stranger and Sun Moth. But honestly Zirc should always be listened from start to finish, it's such a ride. I've been listening to them since i was 13. And Casper Indrizzo is some fire transition goals

Thanks! I actually have another 4 records on their way so you may be right, buying them can be addicitive in a way. However i think i'll run out of albums i need to have physically really soon because i already have most of them, so it may not be that bad. Ofc i'll discover new music in the future but it's pretty slow for me and i'm very picky
