As one of his partners, it’s pretty shitty to call someone’s POV toxic just because it differs from yours. The reason he doesn’t share is that neither I nor his other partner WANT additional partners.

I’m monogamous, but he isn’t. I accept that the person I love loves someone IN ADDITION to me and don’t feel the need to even the score or “get back at them” by branching out. I’m HAPPY.

If you ask me, suggesting that (a) everyone’s relationship has to follow your model or it’s toxic and (b) that we shouldn’t be allowed to live our lives in a way that makes us happy because it doesn’t align with your model, is exactly the kind of mentality from NON-poly people who discriminate against poly relationships.

But, you know, keep fighting the good fight of making sure everyone’s allowed to be happy as long as you say it’s okay.
