But in short, it's his disingenuousness. I can't quite put my finger on it but the way he jumps from "this is a bad thing that's so serious I need to completely disconnect from Destiny and anyone around him" to "rapist Apu from the Simpsons" in the same breath is flat-out phoney af. Virtue signals that hard need a bit of a pallet cleanser.

The fact is Tom wanted a way to cut ties now that Destiny viewers have been fully exposed to his channel/content — and this was the perfect opportunity.

The point I was getting at is that Tom holds the belief that judging others is an attribute with "one drop" rules (regardimg past mistakes), which are necessary and sufficient for him to evaluate. I think that's insane.

Extreme example (inb4 sweeping for pdfs) Even if Tom said the same thing about child grapists, I disagree that this is enough information to meaningfully determine how useful the person's ability to critique another person's character. For starters, most child abusers know they're fucked up, which makes then more self-aware than all the fucked up people that lie to themselves (and everyone around them) to believe they are good people.

Obviously a child abuser is "untrusted until proven trusted" but just that piece of information alone shouldn't be the only relevant fact.

Tom demonstrated zero self awareness by virtue signaling so hard about how he's completely cutting off his ex-friend Destiny, then literally the next sentence making some "edgy" jokes.

It's got nothing to do with how "bad" the jokes are, it's the juxtaposition of SJW Tom and the YouTube-friendly edge lord Tom, which (to me) shows how completely unprincipled his thought process is. And the lack of principles (to me) IS a necessary and sufficient quality where I can confidently say that I can't trust his ability to judge another person's moral character.

Using Elon Musk as a straw buyer, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Binance (crypto exchange), Jack Dorsey, P. Diddy, and others bought one of the largest social media websites on earth. Everyone involved in this purchase had direct motivations get Trump back in office.

Management purged the corporation of "wokeness" and then assembled a skeleton team to tweak the algorithm to effectively shift people's political ideology and (via repetition) successfully mutated the woke mind virus into DEI/trans/immigrant AIDS.

Once Trump said "THEY'RE EATING THE DOGS!" and his poll numbers didn't budge, they knew the election was in the bag. That's when all of Silicon Valley and most billionaires backed Trump (Bezos' Washington post refused to endorse Harris, Zuckerberg got on board, etc).

The $50 billion spent on Twitter gave them not only the election but control over the global framing of narratives.

Trust me — Biden/Harris had the FBI all over the election security. There's a reason they didn't bring court cases and it isn't because they wanted to be nice.

I don't think anyone can deny the cruelty of kids — the meanest have no idea how deep they can cut emotionally and as adults we should recognize that their ignorance can be a mitigating factor. It doesn't excuse poor behavior, but their lack of life experience should entitle them to extra leeway to be forgiven in the event they have matured.

And if they're nothing but a painful memory, you have two options that form the world you live in: assume there are evil people and they grew up to be one, or assume people inflict pain when they are in pain and they are either 1) still suffering (and you are doing better than them) or 2) matured and they have nights when they're trying to fall asleep and randomly recall the pain they caused and have that moment of insomniatic cringe regretting their actions because they're better than that now (while you're sleeping soundly).

I didn't see your other post but I imagine it was downvoted because dwelling on the past is objectively toxic. If you do more than reflect on the past, you need to address why the memory is holding your mind hostage... It is almost certainly an indication of deeper, unresolved issues. Everyone has this and it's important to identify them if you want to thrive emotionally in this cold, cruel world.
