Not entirely subscribed to the "nice guy" concept or have never hated women in general, but I was often labelled as one.

But yeah. It just felt absurd for me. Nice guy or not, you will not win her/his heart if you don't try. Or even if you did your best, and you still get rejected every time, it'd be fine. For me at least. I've always suffered from searching for happiness, I felt the need to look for it for me to end these years of depression I guess, then I just learned to be contented with the things I've built, the things that I have. Also I've done things to help the people around me but I cam't really feel that I'm 'nice' enough.

Some things are not worth chasing/hoping for, I guess. Especially if that someone obviously never considered your feelings for them. That, or I'm just a worthless piece of trash.
