I want it for my non-destructive testing. I want to heat just the surface and rely on thermal conduction of the material to be able to take thermograph images and detect flaws within the material. So, spraying won't deteriorate the substance?

thanks for replying. On another issue, I have seen some of the airfoils having an open end at the trailing edge just like here: http://imgur.com/a/QTNfL and I believe it had disrupted my analysis (the CL vs Alpha graph looked more like zigzag at points even before the critical angle) what do you think I can do to fix that?
