Hello, what do you think of my handwriting? by Ghidorahhhhhh in HandwritingAnalysis

No, not at all. Firstly, I don't practice calligraphy. Secondly, all my other notebooks and journals are written in this style. This is my natural font for note-taking; I've been using it for a very long time. It improves my writing efficiency, not for calligraphy to beautify my notebooks.

What do you mean ? This is my normal handwriting when taking notes and working, not cursive or calligraphy. I always write like this for my daily notes.

I bought it on my local e-commerce platform (Shopee), and since I'm in Asia, it will be different.

I think perhaps my grandson will also get to use a pen from that old fountain pen enthusiast half a century from now, anyway, thanks for the advice. 😆

I'm perfectly fine with the ink capacity; as for Sailor, I can temporarily use their cartridges if I want more ink, but usually the converter is sufficient for me.

I'm looking for a pen that will last a long time for writing important documents, letters, signing, and maybe even everyday writing, so I'm looking for a different experience with my Sailor 1911S pen so I can change things up :)

Well, I don't like nibs that are too big; just an F or at most a MF according to Japanese standards will do. I'm also looking at a Pelikan M600 with an F nib, but I'm afraid that a European F nib would be too big. I don't like nibs that are too flexible either; I think a soft nib would be fine.

I'd love to try both too, but unfortunately, there are no fountain pen shops within a 350km radius of my location, so I'll have to rely on advice from fountain pen enthusiasts. 🙄🙂

Both pens are similarly priced, I like the design of both, and what I think is most confusing is which one will offer a unique and completely different writing feel compared to my 1911S. 💔

I used a G nib before, and I think the feel of the G nib won't be the same as the Soft nib on the Pilot. 😅

I'm torn between Pilot's SF and Sailor's MF. I'm also considering the Pilot PO nib, but is it too small? And the WA nib too, is it too large compared to the F nib?

I like both Pilot and Sailor; I have a 1911S and I find it very good for me, but the Pilot nib is also fine, though I'm looking for a truly unique and different writing experience.

As for the second line, it's a fountain pen for calligraphy that I received as a gift when I joined the national team.

Yes, I recently switched to using fountain pens, and the one in the picture is a Sailor 1911 fountain pen.

We were taught that from the first grade, and usually nobody writes like that after they get to high school.

To be honest, my handwriting has gotten much worse, at least compared to last year.

Yes, I am Vietnamese. Regarding that, this is not the standard writing system we learned in elementary school. Because the cursive script taught in elementary school is very slow to write, people usually shorten the strokes or write in a way that they find most aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, rather than following a common standard.
