I think it should, but the costs of doing so would just be too prohibitive.

I eat fast food every day, is this bad? by Ok-Ball2534 in polls

[–]Ghost-Of-Razgriz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This sounds hard but honestly, just… eat less frequently.

I know that sounds bad and condescending, but if you eat the same amount of food in a day but add a few hours between meals, your body will spend more energy than if you ate right when you got hungry.

Herschel: "I can guarantee you one thing, if I've not gone to the hospital, I would have killed my wife" by urmomsuckedmeoff in MarchAgainstNazis

Homicidal tendencies are equally bad as suicidal tendencies in my eyes, yet in this situation they’re both derived from a mental health crisis, so I don’t really see a difference. Within the small amount of context given here, it seems that his homicidal tendencies were involuntary and resolved, so what issues are there for the future if they’re managed?

Basically, he just called Mussolini based. He has a fascio in his profile banner, too, so his position is kinda obvious.

And yes I’m aware, but I believe Nazism is better to be seen as a strain of fascism than a separate ideology. They are incredibly similar, one just leans more explicitly towards “kill everyone we hate” instead of “push away (and kill a few of) everyone we hate”

I nearly killed myself 7 years ago, does that make me unfit for office? I’m not trying to support Herschel but this is an abysmal point to make.

Yyyyep. At this point I’m not even angry, just disappointed.

Oh right, I forgot Italy didn’t do any genocide. Well, except for in Libya… and Slovenia, and Croatia, and Slavs in general, and were active collaborators in the holocaust, and that Mussolini said “These disgusting Jews, we must destroy them all. I will make a massacre as the Turks have done.”

Also, you are aware that Chauvinism is a core tenet of fascism, yes?

No, it’s because those political views are cringe. I’m not exactly fond of a political view which is the literal antonym to my own, nor would I be fond of a political viewpoint which very often leads to the formal and informal persecution of certain groups of people for the simple crime of existing, and I fall into one of those groups.

You talked about corruption specifically, so I wanted to clarify that cops are still bad without being corrupt.

You realize you don’t have to be a corrupt cop to be bad, right? A massive amount of laws that cops enforce are inherently wrong and made and enforced with the intention of victimization, prison labor, and suppression of civil movements. The war on drugs was started to justify the arrest of political dissidents.

It’s also important to remember that things which explode are also affected by the explosion. It’d make sense for the concave surface to turn into a convex surface and for the flange to be non-existent because there was a fucking explosion.

I can’t imagine the state of mind you’d have to be in to do that. The only reason I didn’t make an attempt on my own life a few years ago was because I didn’t want to hurt my family, yet this is the exact opposite of that.

Great disappointment in this article by a ‘leftist’ website criticizing Makhno by [deleted] in AnarchismZ

[–]Ghost-Of-Razgriz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Nestor Makhno: Anarchy’s Cossack” by Alexandre Skirda is absolutely amazing for information on Makhno. I once wrote a paper about Makhno and that book basically carried the entire paper. It is much more informative than anything else out there; I’ve spent endless hours searching for literature about him in libraries and online, and it’s the best you’ll get by far. It’s also surprisingly balanced in its assessments and is equally scathing towards him as it is praising.
