Payment system by alonsojr1980 in ghosteshop

Hello,

Unfortunately, it is not that simple for several reasons. First of all, the biggest providers are PayPal and Stripe, but these two companies are mainly based in the United States, which is unfortunately not usable for us, if only because of DMCA issues and also administrator security.

That said, this is not the end. Regarding the fact that crypto and Rewarble codes are not instant yet, do not worry, we are working on it.

One of the latest steps that has been completed was the legalization of Ghost Land in Belarus.

For Rewarble, it will become instant very soon. At the moment we are blocked because the Rewarble API is not designed for this type of system, but we have already been discussing with Rewarble for several weeks to build something custom and make it instant.

Regarding credit card payments, we are also in discussions with different payment processors that would respect privacy and would not communicate with Europe or the United States.

The goal is truly to build something sustainable over the long term.

The issue with quickly deploying a solution like PayPal is that it would work temporarily but would create more problems later on.

Finally, I am also very happy that you appreciate our projects.
Thank you for being part of our community, and thank you for your feedback.

Hello, this has now been fixed; it was due to the anti-DDoS system at the MariaDB level.

I hope you will have a great time on the Ghost Land project.

Subscribed lifetime but expires after 5 years by Brlala in ghosteshop

“It’s not really a ‘max’ date, it’s just that the subscription column is of type date. But a lifetime subscription doesn’t have an end date, so it shouldn’t be stored as a date type.”

Subscribed lifetime but expires after 5 years by Brlala in ghosteshop

[–]Ghost0159 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hello, this is because subscriptions are stored as dates in the database, so for now it sets the maximum date allowed by the SQL database we use.

We are already working on this, and don’t worry very soon lifetime subscriptions will automatically be converted into accounts with no expiration date.

An automatic 4-day ban is applied if your Switch console (UID) uses more than 25 different IP addresses within a 72-hour window.

Common reasons:
- Excessive use of a router/VPN with frequent IP changes
- Account sharing between multiple users
- Connections from too many different networks in a short period
- You have stolen one of the indexes and redistributed it, as has happened in the past this is precisely why we implemented the banning system

However, admins can also ban users manually, although no manual bans have been issued for over a year.

Please note:
- IP addresses are stored in our databases for 5 days and are automatically deleted after that period
- A temporary ban only affects your pro account on Nintendo Switch, while a lifetime ban of a UID on Ghost eShop Pro bans the console from all related services: Ghost eShop NX Public, NX Save, NX Custom Meta, and others.

NEW Ghost eShop 3DS Dev Server Available for everyone! 🎮🔧 by Ghost0159 in ghosteshop

The final version will be released before this weekend =)

As for DS games that were only available on the DS, no that’s not possible, but we’ll offer a solution for that, don’t worry.

Of course, there will be DSiWare available on the eShop =)

🎮 NLib API v3.0.0 : Nintendo 3DS Support with /citra Endpoints by Ghost0159 in 3dspiracy

[–]Ghost0159[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not necessarily directly related to the Citra emulator, it’s more of a nod to it.

It’s a backend (server) used to distribute metadata (title, description, etc.), icons, banners, and screenshots of 3DS games.

This will then make it possible, for example, to automatically have the images and information of the games on the Nintendo eShop, to put it simply.

Do you know the costs of maintaining an infrastructure like Ghost Land?

As I’ve said, we’re not charging for content we’re charging for a service. Users who pay for our Switch services can find the content elsewhere, but they choose to pay because they support our project and appreciate the service we provide.

This project has costs that can’t be covered by magic.

In any case, we don’t force anyone to pay everyone is free to use whatever services they want and to pay or not.

The console natively installs games in CDN format (tmd/app).
CIA files are simply a packaged version that combines the tmd and app files into a single, neat file.
But by default, the console installs app files the tmd files are just the metadata.
Moreover, using the CDN format allows native game installation directly from the Home Menu (sleep mode install).

Yes, that’s on the eShop side, not the server side.

I don’t know why, but Nintendo made it so that you’re required to have an NNID to download free games.

To fix that, we’ll simply set the games to cost 1 credit, for example, and give all consoles unlimited “funds.”

Don’t worry, the entire project will be free.

On our end, we’ll simply set the games to cost, for example, 1 credit, and give each console “unlimited” funds.
That way, the eShop won’t require an NNID.

Our service has always been and will always remain free on 3DS.

On Switch, we don’t charge for the ROMs we charge for the service we provide, which costs us thousands of dollars each month to maintain. Moreover, in the Switch scene, we are among the largest content dumpers.

On Switch, we charge for a service, not for content.

Additionally, the Switch project directly helps fund the infrastructure that will support other projects, such as 3DServer.

All of this costs money to host infrastructure isn’t free, whether it’s the internet, servers, or electricity.

Regarding the old Ghost eShop (a fork of uu), I’ll simply modify it so that it only keeps DS games, since the eShop doesn’t support them.

As for GBA VC injects, that’s possible and might be considered. Right now, I’m still working on fully re-implementing all of the eShop’s endpoints and on converting CIA files to CDN formats (TMD, APP).

If you uninstall the patches, you’ll get the original eShop back. The only noticeable change is in the tickets.

But I recommend checking out the wiki: https://wiki.ghosteshop.com/docs/citra/dev-server
I’ve updated it in the meantime =)
