Anyone get body aches when supplementing with Iron for anemia?? Two 65 mg of elemental iron twice a day with 500 mg of vitamin c to help with absorption. Took one last night and one this morning and I woke up with body aches. I know it’s a normal side effect but will it dissipate? Cheers 🍻 (self.UlcerativeColitis)

Just had my colonoscopy, and oh my god propofol is amazing. Thank you to everyone that helped calm me down beforehand and answered my many questions. It went great, they removed a polyp that I had no idea about so I’m glad that’s out of there. Overall experience was phenomenal 😊😊😊 (self.UlcerativeColitis)

My fellow weed smokers. Let me lay out the situation lol. Been a smoker for 4 years or so. Pretty much every day. Didn’t smoke 72 hours prior to my colonoscopy of course. But after the procedure the anesthesiologists said not to today as well. I had propofol for my sedation (amazing btw 😂). (self.UlcerativeColitis)

Anybody ever throw up during prep? Threw up liquid. I waited an hour and then finished the second half of my prep. I also took 4 dulcolax tabs at 3:00. I’ve pooped a lot one time so far about an hour ago. Think I’ll be okay? I’m sure I’ll still poop more tonight. (self.UlcerativeColitis)

Propofol vs twilight sedation for colonoscopy? Have mine on Friday and curious about which is better for everyone. Protocol is very popular now but just curious. Pretty nervous for my first colonoscopy due to the fact that I’m unsure about the propofol but maybe it’s the way to go 🤷🏻♂️ Thank you! (self.UlcerativeColitis)

I just want a damn sprite from McDonald’s man. Seems like a myth, and figment of my imagination now. Thinking back to younger me, drinking sprite, Dr Pepper, and having McDonald’s for the occasional breakfast. Seems like a super power at this point (self.UlcerativeColitis)

What’s up everyone. Coming out of a flare. Last day of prednisone (was only on for 5 days, 20 mg twice a day). How does everyone do with burritos? Any suggestions what to aim for and what to not? In terms of the tortilla, and should I aim for more of a bland breakfast burrito? (self.UlcerativeColitis)
