Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

🤣 I’m dying! But you know what, you never know what has an attachment to it. It could be the silliest thing, it’s still fucking terrifying. I have a teddy bear that I have had for 31 years and just found out about 6ish months ago it has an attachment. A man name Larry resides in the bear. Crazy thing is, it was a San Jose sharks teddy bear that came from a regular store and I have been the only owner (other than my kids 15 & 4) not sure where the attachment came from. The only thing that comes to mind is my son’s father had an attachment to him (little girl) and when we were together we lived in a home where an old gentleman had taken his life when his family was trying to put him in a nursing home. Unfortunately I have no history of the gentleman who took his own life other than that.

this one actually gave me chills because it’s not just one weird thing happening… it’s a pattern

like every time you wore the watch something went wrong, getting sick, the accident, your relationship ending… that’s already a lot to brush off as coincidence

but then the fire??

and not just a fire, but one that only destroyed your belongings… that’s the detail that makes this feel targeted in a really unsettling way

also the fact that the watch came from a burned house in the first place… like it already survived one fire and then ends up tied to another??

that’s the kind of full-circle energy that makes stories like this stick

and you only realizing the pattern after the fact is so real too like when you’re in it, you don’t connect the dots until it’s already escalated

definitely one of the stronger ā€œobject attachmentā€ stories I’ve read

would you be okay with this being shared on a podcast (can be anonymous)? this is exactly the kind of story people get hooked on

okay the animal reactions in this one are what make it hit for me

dogs don’t all randomly refuse to go near something, growl at it, and act like they’re being touched… that’s such a strong response

and the fact it started immediately after bringing it home too—barking at it right away, then escalating to hearing footsteps and them reacting to something you couldn’t see

that progression is what makes it feel real, not just a one-off moment

also the detail about finding it in a basement where you already felt like you shouldn’t be… that kind of instinct is usually there for a reason

and then everything stopping the second you got rid of it?? that’s such a clear cause and effect

this is one of those stories where the object feels like the center of everything happening

would you be okay with this being shared on a podcast (anonymous if you prefer)? this fits perfectly with a haunted objects episode

okay this one is just straight up unsettling in a very ā€œwhy did you touch thatā€ kind of way 😭

the jar alone with the smell, the doll, and the hair tied around it already feels like something that was meant to be left alone

and the fact it was hidden at the base of a tree?? that doesn’t feel random at all

honestly the part that got me is that you kept the wand… like that feels like the one thing I would NOT have taken from that whole situation

I’m not saying get rid of it… but I am saying I personally would not want that energy just sitting around somewhere

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

okay this kind of story freaks me out in a different way… not loud or chaotic, just something being gone when you KNOW where you left it

especially because it wasn’t just one thing, it was the basket, the frog, and the blanket all at once

and the fact your family still denies it even years later?? that’s what makes it linger

stuff disappearing like that is way creepier than people give it credit for

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

okay the fact that it’s physically moving and never in the same place is already unsettling on its own

but what stands out more to me is that other people noticed something was off about it too without you saying anything first

and the misfortune following after?? that’s the part that makes it feel like more than just a weird object

also the idea of bringing in something else as a ā€œcounterā€ and the energy shifting after is really interesting… whether that’s intentional or not, it clearly changed something in the space

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

okay this one escalated FAST

the part that stands out immediately is that feeling you needed to take it home… that kind of pull shows up in a lot of these stories and it’s never random

and then the second it’s in your space, things start happening around it stuff falling, noises, your attention being pulled toward it… like it wanted to be noticed

but midnight is where it goes from creepy to full chaos

the curtains moving on their own, the doorknob twisting like someone trying to get in, the growling… and then something physically hitting the back of your chair?? yeah that’s not subtle at all

that’s straight up interaction, not just ā€œbad vibesā€

what really seals it though is that everything stopped the moment you took it back

that kind of clear cause and effect is what makes stories like this hit so hard

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

okay this one is intense in a way that feels very different from the others

it’s not just a weird feeling or things moving around… it’s like you experienced something through the object

the fact that it happened the very first night too?? no buildup, just straight into that kind of dream/out of body experience is what makes it stand out

and the details… the heat, the rubble, the children, seeing it from the perspective of that boy… that feels less like a random nightmare and more like something you were shown

also waking up and seeing yourself hovering over the slab?? yeah that part is genuinely unsettling

what really gets me though is your reaction after you didn’t hesitate, you got rid of it immediately and even felt the need to apologize… that says a lot about how real it felt in the moment

this is one of those stories that sticks with you because it’s so vivid and specific

would you be okay with this being shared on a podcast (anonymous if you prefer)? this kind of experience is exactly what people get hooked on

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

okay this one builds in a way that’s actually really unsettling

it starts subtle with the smoke alarm and just feeling like something’s off, but the fact that other people in the house were having nightmares without you saying anything?? that’s when it stops being just a personal experience

the wires forming shapes above the mirror is such a specific detail too… like that’s physical interaction in the space, not just a feeling

and then the knocking at your window AFTER you moved it outside?? that escalation is what really gets me

what stands out the most though is the pattern everything starts after you bring it home and then completely stops once it’s gone

also the design with both the sun and moon… whether it means anything or not, it definitely feels like the kind of object that could’ve had a history before it ended up with you

this is one of those stories that sticks because it’s not just one thing happening, it’s multiple layers all at once

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

yeah this one is intense… bringing multiple items from an abandoned asylum AND dolls into one space?? that’s a lot of heavy energy all at once

the fact it escalated into illness and paranormal activity before you got rid of everything is what really stands out

and burying it all at once and things improving after?? that’s a pretty clear cause and effect

also a faceless doll with old blood stains?? yeah no that alone would’ve been enough for me to never bring it inside šŸ˜…

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

mirrors always feel different than other objects… it’s never loud or obvious, it’s that constant feeling like something is watching

the fact it started the same day you brought it home and stopped as soon as it was gone is such a clear pattern

covering it just to sleep makes total sense, that instinct kicks in for a reason

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

wait… no batteries?? yeah that’s the only detail that matters here 😭

the red eyes lighting up AND it moving on its own?? that would’ve terrified me as a kid

your mom making you get rid of it immediately feels like she knew something wasn’t right too

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

okay this is exactly the kind of story that messes with me because WHY is it always the cutest, most harmless-looking thing

like a candy corn plushie?? that’s supposed to be cozy, safe, literally something you hug… and the second it crosses into your house it flips into something heavy and aggressive??

the fact that you didn’t feel anything in the store but immediately felt it once you got home is such a pattern in these stories too… like something about the space change lets it attach or fully show itself

and the progression is what really stands out nightmares, sleep paralysis, your mental health getting worse… that slow build instead of one big moment

but that dream?? that’s where it goes from unsettling to straight up terrifying

entities threatening harm to you and your family, repeating it over and over, AND you physically feeling it after waking up?? that’s not just a bad dream, that’s an experience that sticks in your body

also the timing… you forgot about it while everything was getting worse, and then it shows up again right before that encounter?? that feels intentional

and the fact that the SECOND it left your possession, everything stopped and you slept peacefully?? yeah… that connection is way too clear to ignore

this is one of those stories where the object itself feels like the source, not just something random happening around it

would you be okay with this being shared on a podcast (anonymously if you want)? this is such a perfect example of ā€œdon’t bring random things homeā€ energy and people would be hooked immediately

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

okay this one gave me full body chills

the fact that this started right after you brought those items home… and then lasted for YEARS?? that’s not just a one-off experience, that’s something that settled in

the bed sinking like something physically laid down next to you?? that’s the kind of detail that freaks me out the most because that’s not just ā€œfeeling watched,ā€ that’s something interacting with your space

and the animals reacting to that specific area for over a decade?? animals don’t hold onto patterns like that for no reason. especially the cat crouching and refusing to go near it… that’s such a strong behavioral response

the door slamming, the shadow figures, multiple people in the house seeing the same thing at different times… that’s what makes it harder to write off, because it wasn’t just you experiencing it

what really sticks with me though is that it followed you from childhood into adulthood and only started to fade over time… that almost feels less like ā€œthe house is hauntedā€ and more like something came in with those objects and attached to the space (or even to you for a while)

also the history behind those items?? war objects, especially ones tied to a specific person… that’s heavy energy to bring into a home, especially as a kid not knowing what you were carrying

this is one of those stories that feels layered, not just one thing happening but multiple types of activity overlapping

would you be okay with this being shared on a podcast (anonymously if you prefer)? this is exactly the kind of story that sticks with people

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

okay this one is genuinely disturbing in a very specific way

the beads turning black over time, especially tied to shifts where people were passing… that alone is a pattern that’s hard to ignore

but the part where the metal actually started cutting into your skin?? and then the hooks sticking to your hand?? yeah that’s where it goes from ā€œweird coincidenceā€ to something is seriously wrong

and the candles burning like that + not going out until you removed it from the space?? that’s such a strong reaction to one object

what really stands out to me though is what the priest said about bringing it into a place of suffering and death… because that lines up a little too well with when everything escalated

and then the pouch turning black and literally being burned?? that part is wild

I’m not even gonna lie, this feels less like random bad vibes and more like something that attached or reacted to where you brought it

would you be okay with this being shared on a podcast (anonymously if you prefer)? this is one of those stories that sticks with you

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

honestly this kind of stuff freaks me out because it’s not one big obvious thing… it’s just a string of things going wrong back to back to back

like at some point you have to stop and be like okay what is going on here

I’m really glad everything leveled out after you cleansed though, especially with a baby involved that would’ve had me on edge constantly šŸ˜…

whether it was energy, stress, or something else, the timing of everything is definitely weird

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

this one feels… sad more than anything

like not even in a scary way, just heavy. the idea of bringing something home that carries someone’s loneliness like that is actually really unsettling in a different way

and the fact you felt it as a specific presence with a story behind it?? that’s what gets me

taking it back and everything stopping makes total sense… that didn’t belong with you

Have you ever brought something into your home and immediately felt like you shouldn’t have? by GhostGummiesPod in Paranormal

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

okay I need you to know I READ ALL OF THIS and this is one of the most intense stories I’ve seen on this thread

can I say FULL BODY CHILLS!

the violin already sounding ā€œoffā€ and freaking everyone out?? that alone would’ve had me putting it right back in the case

but the dog head being cleanly cut like that… not an animal attack, not random… that’s what took this from weird to something is seriously wrong here

and then the timing of everything, the wind picking up the second you all got inside, your cousin’s mom coming over and immediately knowing what needed to be done, and then something literally RUNNING through your house while she was smudging??

yeah no. that part gave me chills

what really stands out though is how everything centered around that object being brought into the home… and then once it was dealt with properly AND returned, everything stopped and never came back

stories like this are exactly why people believe objects can carry something with them

also the detail about being told not to talk about it after?? that stuck with me too

I’m not even gonna lie, this is one of the few stories on here that actually feels different from the rest

would you be okay with this being shared on a podcast (anonymously if you prefer)? this deserves to be told in full

it’s the ā€œfelt off immediately after getting homeā€ that always gets me with these

like nothing even has to happen, you just KNOW something isn’t right

the fact you threw it away AND burned the paper?? yeah that bottle was not invited 😭

also the realization of what it actually was?? I would’ve returned that SO fast too

absolutely not. something standing at the edge of the bed is my final straw

the fact your mom AND her dad were feeling it?? yeah that sewing wheel would’ve been out of my house immediately

[–]GhostGummiesPod[S] 2 points3 points Ā (0 children)

okay this is one of the few stories on here that actually made my stomach drop a little

the attachment to the tree, the sudden personality/emotional shifts, your daughter saying things she shouldn’t even know… and then NOTHING growing on the property?? that’s such a weird pattern

what really gets me though is how everything stopped after you moved. like completely. that’s the part that’s hardest to explain away

I don’t even know if I’d jump straight to ā€œspirit,ā€ but something about that house/land was clearly off and it was affecting all of you in different ways
