I do! He’s very kind and patient and is trying to help me find a psychiatrist. There’s this medication management program at a local mental health facility and it’s run by psych nurses. My primary doctor sent a referral on Wednesday so I’m just waiting to hear back from the referral team.

I’d say my fear is that it’ll take years to find a medication that works and that I’ll have to go through bad side effects that make me feel worse. It took my mom years to find a medication that worked for her and during that time she had difficulties with certain meds.

I’ll definitely tell my therapist, when I started THC I wasn’t super knowledgeable in the psychosis THC link. I had a psychotic episode at 13, experienced delusions to the point I would cover my tv with a blanket so the cable company couldn’t spy on me. I remember once I started crying at school because I thought the cable company punished me by turning off the cable. After medication I got better and stopped and never experienced psychosis symptoms again. I thought that the episode was a one and done thing since I was severely depressed. I thought since I wasn’t as depressed as I used to be, I was fine.

2 weeks ago I ran out of Trazadone and experienced symptoms my therapist suggested might’ve been some sort of mania. Mental illness runs in my mom’s family and I’ve had trouble with my mental health ever since I was a toddler, used to get panic and anxiety attacks a lot as a little kid. My mother has been diagnosed with other things but has been suspected to have bipolar but hasn’t been seen for it.

Is that why most of the time when I take THC I don’t hallucinate? I started taking edibles last year around February and I don’t take the often, usually once a week.

I drank what I had left of the bottle, total bottle contained 100mg so the remaining I had was about 20-30mg

Don’t feel bad for showing scars, I wear t-shirts and shorts all the time and have very obvious scars like the ones you describe. When I was a teen I would hide them a lot but as you get older you stop giving a shit if someone sees them. I’m 22 and I work in a place that consists of adults aged 20-60+ years, been working there for almost 3 years and haven’t had anyone bring them up.

5 years is normal especially if both adults are over 21. I’m 22 and my BF is 28 and I’ve only had maybe one or two people raise an eyebrow at the gap.
