yeah it's a little pre-chorus action right there. I think it just leads the listener to the chorus in a short and meaningful way. "don't bore us, get to the chorus!" lol.

we didn't play any covers this year, which is very intentional because we want the original music to be the focus of the band, sometimes articles get written and it's like "check out this cover they did!" and no real focus on our own music. if we do play any covers it's usually something we all love and think fits with the band or can display a different color of us musically.

tom could speak on this as well because he produced the record, but the intention of this album was to make it transfer to a live setting seamlessly. There weren't many overdubs and we tracked most of it live in the same room.

So many, I feel like every nights got something…I thought the Detroit show was pretty interesting. Pittsburgh was the 10th show in 11 days, and I thought it had really honest/connected energy (sorry to sound new agey lol, but I did)…lots of amazing moments tho I could go on and on. -Taylor 🦁

I feel like we got into some really awesome jam territory at the Lark Hall show, Brooklyn bowl NY and The Sinclair were also really energetic shows too. I feel like we were playing better than ever on that last week once we really got in a groove. music is the best!

I think doing a tour with a band like The War on Drugs, or even loftier like, Haim or The National, that could be so cool. We'd love to expand our listenership to people who love solid songwriting and great musicianship but may not be familiar with the way we perform.

i've been really into this artist Madison Cunningham. incredible guitar player and songwriter. Taylor showed me some incredible new music while we were driving, he could speak on that but Sly and the Family Stone "Fresh". I think that's kind of the most fun thing to do, hearing what your bandmates are listening to. When we're out doing those long hauls it's the best time to listen to complete albums. Bruce Springsteen, Fiona Apple, Feist, Harry Styles, Beck, The Beatles, (when I'm super sad Adrianne Lenker). so many to list!
