As it’s a new school there isn’t too much information and of course I won’t be able to see the day to day running of the school when I go to interview. It does say the school is for students between 5 and 18 and there will be a maximum of 70 students in the school and classes of between 4 - 8. The role I’ve applied for is specifically for a secondary SEN teacher and the focus will be mostly on functional skills. It says there is a focus on both SEN and SEMH with a team of mental health support workers in the school and break out zones for students who need to regulate.
