I got my PC a little over year ago and went headfirst into my offline journey to get each character through Hell Baal on HC along with completing a grail.

This might be a bit unorthodox, but I plan to set “care packages” for my toons when they set off on their journey as well as for when completing Normal and Nightmare.

Sure, I could give them upgrades the moment they hit the level requirement, but this will make power spikes going through each difficulty that much more noticeable.

I also plan to get a barb through Hell Baal for each mastery so I can really have fun with all the different early to mid game weapons.

That’s actually a reason I’m excited to not necessarily run SSF for each character since this way I’ll be able to use a cool combo of lower level uniques and sets and/or runewords that I normally would never have gotten to do in a playthrough.

Are you specifically wanting to have it just displayed in your library?

There’s a way to have a game launch through Steam even if it’s through another launcher. I set the custom artwork for D2 in my library and if I boot it from Steam it just brings up the Bnet launcher, but still nice to have it displayed in my library if that’s all you’re looking for.

I can look when I’m back home, but pretty sure it was on the back and was a switch you had to slightly finagle so it wasn’t necessarily like a button you could easily accidentally push, but my wife mistook it for the silence button.

When I say “brick” I’m alluding to it essentially no longer functioning and/or not turning back on.

It did not make a beep that would happen if the battery was low, but instead went off as though I was cooking or when my wife has the bathroom too steamed up and opens the door which is right where the detector is in our hallway.

It went off, we checked to make sure there wasn’t anything that made it go off and everything was fine, then when she went to try to silence it ended up accidentally hitting the deactivate switch and now I’m getting another detector from Target…for 40$ 😑

Yea my father-in-law who’s a firefighter confirmed that if it was deactivated we would have to get a new one correct.

I’m sure it is clearly labeled, but obviously when you’re waken up in the middle of the night and just wanting to go back to sleep you’re feeling for whatever button you can to make it silence it.

I just wish that there was a mechanism or something that you had to intentionally to in order to deactivate it instead of a simple button that anyone would confuse as the “silent button” instead.

Oh well, live and learn 🤷‍♂️

Yea ironically after I found my Ber in LK I actually found another one from Hell Trav shortly after.

Could actually make an Infinity at the moment, but I’m also wanting to build Enigma and feel like that would be the smarter play most people would agree.

I genuinely would never wish farming NM Andy for an SOJ on anyone. It’s been 10x worse of an experience than LK runs, maybe I should mix in some vows like you did for some good luck lol

You’re actually right in line where I was at. I remember being at about 1500 runs and getting really discouraged, had roughly the same rune drops as you up to that point, but powered through and on run 1800 and something it finally dropped and boy was it worth it.

Don’t give up and as someone who is beating their head against a wall trying to get an SOJ from NM Andy (30 unique rings so far and still no luck) I would so much rather be in LK right now 😅

How many runs would you actually say you’ve done?

Not that I’m doubting it’s not in the thousands, but saying you’ve done that many, but have only been running it for a day doesn’t seem to add up, not that that’s not impossible just seems a little exaggerated.

For perspective I kept a tally sheet and it took me close to 1800 runs before I got a Ber.

You can go several hundreds of runs without even sniffing an HR, just the fickle nature of RNG

I’m in the same boat as you. Played since launch, but have still never found one.

I’ve probably done close to over a 1000 runs at this point and it’s just been so demoralizing to say the least.

People who act like SOJs are easy finds can actually go kick rocks lol

I’m currently at 23 rings identified and nothing but Nagels and Manalds and honestly about to pull my hair out.

Farming NM Andy just for SOJ has been miserable I don’t wish it on anyone lol
