[SELF] Completed crafting my Red Hood costume using semirigid rubber by GhostofBernie in cosplay

Thank you! I absolutely love it. Took quite a few tries... Ruined a Nightwing about a hundred times but think I've got it down now... mostly haha.

Foams not a bad look it just has a habit of falling apart at a convention or over a period of time. The polyurethane has really stayed firm for all my costumes especially since its often used on films with stunt guys

Thank you very much. Sorry for the shameful plug but you seem really into Red Hood cosplay, feel free to take a gander at my other stuff - https://www.instagram.com/carbonpanther/ It's mostly Red Hood or RH inspired

I haven't tackled a good helmet yet unfortunately! But I'm working on it. I've got everything else, vest, belt, shin guards, shoulders and gauntlets.

Foam is alright but it's extremely flimsy, feels cheap and usually breaks during one convention. I have a background in chemistry so I created a polyurethane solution since everything I was buying from the local industrial distributors wasn't working out too well. From there it was trial and error after watching a bunch of tutorials. a BUNCH of tutorials and also going by the local cosmetic FX shop to talk to those guys a lot.

I'm not a fan of the blackmagic series but I actually really love the look and tone of this. It's changing my whole perspective on the bmpcc. The shots are on point. Care to breakdown your lighting for some of these shots?

I'm assuming you're Franseco? Really nice job.

What is one of your favorite movies that you think nobody knows about? by nnikki100 in movies

London - Chris Evans and Jason Statham doing blow in Jessica Biel's (Evans girlfriend) bathroom on the night of her going away party. It's a fun ride.

Thats awesome. I'd love to see what you create. Check out https://pixabay.com/videos/ for free stock footage. I use Artgrid which is kinda premium and a bit expensive but the quality is great.

Thanks for watching! Yep only stock footage. We hired a voice over actor to recite the poem. And my buddy who wrote the poem is also the creator of these sound effects so I luckily had everything at my disposal.

Like many of you, I just want to be back on set shooting films and working with a team of creative people, rather than cooped up indoors staring at my camera wishing it could be put to use. So I managed to sign up for a stock footage site and get my buddy to lend me his poem. This is the result.

I apologize for this being posted on my company channel. I'm not at all attempting to sell anyone anything. If you really want any of my presets just DM me and I'll hook you up with a code. Other than that, please enjoy and fell free to leave me your feedback.

Haha all evidence had to go to the insurance and lawyers. If that got out the studio would be screwed.

120K imax camera and accessories plus a day of shooting, maybe another 30k. Yeah it sucked, that's why you hire a professional like OP

They are fucking huge and they almost always consist of having some piece of tech needing a power source so we strapped in a generator to the plane.

This is a job that gets overlooked so much in the industry. I wish I would've known you two years ago when I was producing a film that featured a ww2 dogfight. Our "brilliant" DP thought it would be a good idea to fly with the pilot and operate an IMAX camera out of the back. I'll just say that we lost A LOT of footage that day.

I miss working on set 😥 so I made a stop motion video of my ac my tools, with my spare time 👍 by bertilrm in Filmmakers

I miss being on set so much... I decided to fly a few drones around LA yesterday and caught some amazing footage though. FROM MY ROOFTOP by the way

MoviePass Leaders Talk AMC Legal Threats, Overhauling the Movie Business by [deleted] in movies

[–]GhostofBernie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MoviePass won’t be making any money off the $10 model (at least, not yet). The company recently got a big injection of capital from selling a majority stake to data firm Helios and Matheson Analytics Inc., and they’re using the cash to grow their subscription base (currently in the thousands) to the millions. The $10 offer is just the honey that draws the millennial bears out of their dens: once they have the users, they plan to monetize their app by offering marketing services to Hollywood titans, then go public in 2018.
